FAQ of Cast Steel Check Valve:
Q1:I can’t find the type of steel check valve which I need. what can I do?
The chart above only lists out some common composition of steel check valve parts. We may provide other different parts material composition according to the customer's request or the actual valve working condition.
Q2:Which certification do your products pass?
Our products are in accordance with ISO 9001、ISO 14001、API 6A、API 6D、TS CE、API607/6FA/BS6755.
- Q: wut is the purpose of this valve on tanks and on piping? explain wut the vacuum part does and wut pressure does? thanks
- The pressure relief valve is to protect a tank or piping from rupturing from excess pressure. A vacuum relief valve would prevent tanks and piping from collapsing from too little internal pressure.
- Q: We have an oil steam system. There are Dole valves - 1A on each of the radiators. We bought new ones. They don't seem to be working. They look like a bullet shape with a screw in (on the side of the bullet) to the radiator. On the top of the bullet is a slit with numbers 1-10 on a dial. A picture we saw on the web showed a plastic piece of tubing in the screw part which looks like it goes into the radiator. If we remove the valve, the radiator gets hot with steam coming out of the hole. With the new valve on, the radiator barely gets warm. We're in Piscataway, NJ 08854. H-E-L-P.
- Seems to me that a steam valve would need to hold a lot more pressure than a hot water valve. Steam is a high pressure gas and water is a liquid irregardless how hot it is (below boiling point) I am not a qualified plumber or boiler tech but personally I wouldn't use a steam valve for water or vise versa.
- Q: My 97 Tahoe has a leaking A/C pressure valve. I went to charge the system yesterday, and when I finished I took the hoses from the charging gauges off. The pressure side valve leaked. I pressed it down with a small screwdriver yet still couldn't get it to seat. I looks like it might have a damaged seal around the valve. Can I replace the valve? And if so, how. Or do I have to replace the entire hose assemble as they connect to the compressor? Thanks
- This is a very common problem and you will need to reclaim the freon and replace the service port only and not the hose, however you will need a special socket to remove it or you will damage the hose as well as the new valve......... After you are finished you will need to evacuate and recharge the system complete and dont for get to add refrigerate oil back as well.
- Q: I know absolutely nothing about cars. My AC stopped working, I had a new air compressor, drier, expansion valve put on. It was also vacuumed out. Problem is it will not take a recharge, and there is no refrigerant in it at all. But it keeps reading high pressure, I don't know the readings I was told it is reading high, and will not take a recharge. Someone on yahoo answers suggested it might be the Schrader valve is this a problem that it can cause if it's bad that it will not let you recharge, and read a high pressure reading? Is there a Schrader valve for the low pressure valve amp; the high pressure valve or is there just one? I have a 96 Dodge Stratus ES. Thank you for any help or ideas.
- 2 valve 1 low 1 high the valve is cheap (looks like the same as one that goes in a bicycle innertube) but if a shop puts it the labor price for your area, here around 75.00 this dont make sense. to have high pressure there has to be something in the lines. and the valve would be open to give you a reading so unless its leaking its working. with a vac on it and 0 134a you should have a reading of -20(+or-) in of mercury on the low side (below 0) and 0 on the high side. If the high side valve was not depressed (opened) then you would have the can pressure reading (about 80psi depend on temp) only if you tried to fill from the high side. Ok try this find the line going to the firewall and inside the car, this is the low (return) line. dont use the one that goes to condenser at the front of the car (the radiator looking one). find the fill valve and thread on the fitting (may have a cap on it) tighten the fitting until it is tight then use a pair of pliers and turn 1/8-1/4 turn more then try to fill.
- Q: Is it supposed to go on or only in cases when the power goes out??? I bought this pump and the directions are horrible!!! There isn't room for both the air stone and the check valve!! How does this stupid thing work???
- Keep okorder /
- Q: i have a leak on the front of that valve cover and the oil is going down to the headers,,how can i fix the problem.?how do i install da gasket do i need any special things??thanx for tha help
- Probly need a new gasget for the valve cover, not a big job to do, just make sure when you take the valve cover off that its done in a clean dust free environment BEFORE you take out the spark plugs out make sure no dust or dirt can fall down the holes into the cylinder. Use a hover if necessary as when you try to prise up the valve cover it may jerk, spilling dirt down into the chamber. also keep an eye on the valve cover bolts and washers they tend to go missing! Then just replace the old gasget with the new one and this should solve the problem. (Dont over tighten the bolts either use a small spanner or torq wrench if availiable! )
- Q: what the valves adjustment spies in the 1979 Mercury-marine engine, 6 cylinder in-line 165hp 4.089L?
- From 0 lash turn the rocker arm nut 3/4 turn. Before you start, lay some rags under the engine to ketch the oil. The engine needs to be running. Loosen each nut until you hear the rocker arm stat to click, then tighten it slowly until the clicking stops, your now at 0 lash, now tighten the nut down 3/4 turn or 270 degrees, don't do this to fast the lifter needs to adjust. After adjusting, take a center punch held at 45 degree angle and punch the stud and top of the nut, this will assure the nut stays adjusted and wont back off. Put the valve cover on and wash the oil off, a spray can of brake cleaner works great. Remove the rags and your done. Happy boating. .
- Q: if safe, at what age should a woman with mitral valve prolapse be pregnant?
- It is fine as long as your doctor monitors you and knows your level of regurgitation. Please report any new palpitations at once. You must keep your blood pressure under control also. Congrats!
- Q: i dont get how valves produce the sound? and why did we change to solid state? was that because they we're used in stereos?
- Most valve amps I have used reproduce the sound of a tube amp. Tubes have a warm sound and can be overdriven to get that good rock crunch distortion sound. We went to solid state because they were durable and didn't require the maintenance of a tube amp. Printed circuits and transistors cut the cost of manufacturing. The old tube amps still have the purpose and they never quite matched the exact sound of tubes with the solid state amps. That is why they are making a lot of tube amps now.
- Q: I have a 1994 Toyota 4x4 pickup with the 4 cylinder motor. How do I check to see if the pvc valve works?
- When you pull the PVC valve, out from its rubber grommet on the valve cover.....shake it; it should rattle. If it does not rattle, drop it in a coffee cup of gas and wash it out....then it will rattle, and replace it back in the valve cover. Its only a 1/8th metal pin that sets in a hole....it allows air to be sucked out, but not back into the motor, commonly called a check valve. Its only a one way valve. Just wash out your old valve and it will be the same as a new one. There is no reason to buy a new one unless the plastic is cracked or damaged in some way.
