- Speakers are passive devices. It is the amplifier that provides amplification. Unless you redesign the whole amp, you can't just get more volume. Buy a new amp.

- Which Bose speakers are you comparing? If you are referring to the Bose Sounddock 10 or the Bose Acoustic Wave Radio then I would argue Bose over Geneva speakers. The legacy of Geneva speakers are formidable. They have been in the studio and offer great insight into music, but the sound quality of the one's I have heard is lacking. Best I can put into words is the sound is arrested, held up, masked even muffled, it could be so much more, but it cannot. Geneva didn't give their best sonic effort to match their reputation, design and colors of the Geneva box. On the contrary, either Bose units provide a robust vibrant well rounded sound stage. The Bose Sounddock 10 does it best of the three. It is hundreds less out of pocket. My recommendation is to go listen to the Sounddock 10, be sure to turn it up, then turn it down, see what you hear. Best.

- It's either the speaker, the cable, or the amp/receiver. You have to isolate the problem by eliminating each thing one at a time. Connect one of the other speakers (that you know works) to the output that goes to that speaker. If it works, then it's the cable of the first speaker. If it doesn't, then it's the amp/receiver. At that point, you have two choices: Either get the amp repaired, or buy a new one.

- ur speaker whould have got some fault so consult the service center. u may not have connected it properly just turn the pin of the speaker where u have connected it with the cpu u might have not adjusted ur equializer to the room settings

- Anything really. Unless you are running wires a long distance you wont be able to hear the difference. The sky is the limit as far as how much some manufacturers will charge for their cables. If you get a 10 dollar roll of walmart 18 guage it will probably sound the same as a $100 monster cable setup.
- Q:I just got a 2010 mazda 3 sedan 4 speaker non boss version. I would like to upgrade the front speakers but I need to know the size. My friend can get me a good deal but I have to 100% be sure know the size because there is no returns. I have been told the front speakers are 6.5 and keep finding different sizes on sites but I flashed a light into the speaker grill and it looks like an oval shape. If anyone can 100% tell me the size thanks.
- The true speaker size in the front doors are 5 1/4 speakers, as well as the rear doors. 6.5 speakers could fit, but would need an adapter to fit properly, but then you have to worry about the door panel not fitting on properly due to the speaker.
