First off a warning friends don't let friend's buy dells. Blah anyways the notebook will have speakers built in but there not going to be that good. If your speakers worked fine on the other laptop and are amplified (they plug into the wall usually) then they should work just fine.

Q:Hi everybody!My car 's model is Honda accord 2002. It has 6 speakers: 2 rear speakers, 2 front speaker in the door and 2 speakers on dashboard. But just 2 rear speakers work. I try to remove the cover and check the front speakers with another soure but it is still fine. Then i check the wire and it 's also ok. Can anyone help me this problem. Thanks a lot.

get a multimeter. check the speakers, check the wires, check the head unit, try the fade adjustment? fade to rear will set only the rear speakers to on. if thats the problem tell all your friends it was a wire problem ;-) if your car has a built in amplifier which i'm assuming it does because with 6 speakers that would be considered 'premium sound' check that in my 96 mercury grand marquis i had to yank out the factory amp because it interfered with my stereo and wouldn't allow signal to pass through it take your time and remember it will work in the end as long as you're patient

Bookshelf speakers do not generally have a 3.5 mm input, they use binding posts. For non-powered speakers you will need an amplifier to drive them with, your computer speaker outputs are not powered, they are line level.

Q:I found some Sanus speaker stands. The height seems perfect for me. It's the SANUS SYSTEMS BF-31B Wood Speaker Stands. The speakers I want to place on them is 6 5/8 inches by 4 3/8 inches (height x width). These stands are about 7.5 by 7.5. Would they fit? I've never bought speaker stands before.

Speaker stands should bring the speakers up so that the tweeter is at ear level when seatedif they do that they should work.and should be right for those speakers.the size of the platform is sufficient.

Non-amplified speakers like the ones you have are specifically made for low wattage usage.
