- Is the card that is inserted locked? Most SD cards have a safety lock so that you can't remove anything from them accidentally. Try taking it out of the reader, and look for a small switch on one side. This can be moved up or down. On one end it might say lock. - Q:Hello :) So I'm trying to upload pictures to my computer from my SD memory card but nothing popped up when I plugged my memory card reader in, so I went into My Computer and nothing showed up there! When I clicked on Removable Disk (F:), it said to insert a disk into drive F:. It makes the noises and everything when I plug my USB into the computer but it must not read it or something. This has never happened before and I even made sure that both ends were plugged in and I blew in the memory card reader too. Also, the memory card in NOT on lock. - already try to plug it in the other usb slot ? what about the red light on the memory card reader? turns red or not? if its not, it means the memory card reader is broken now, but if it still turns on, i think there's a problem with the memory card cable or virus on your sd card. i hope its not a virus coz you will have to format it and lose all the data. o(^_^)o

- Usually Windows will automatically bring up any new cards that you plug in. Does the card reader look like it works when you put the new card in? It should also be showing up in my computerThe only other suggestion I have is going into Control Panel and try scanning for new hardware. Hope this helps

- MB's answer is good. That TC1100 is of 2003 vintage, so I really hope you don't plan to use this PC for any kind of heavy use or even video display.
- Q:I just recently got a (Micro) SD/MMC/SIM card reader from Eforcity, but I can't find any PC APPLICATIONS that work with my Motorola W370 TracFone's phonebook via the SIM reader. When I use the application that was recommended by Eforcity to add entries to the phonebook, all it does is add names, no information. A phonebook entry can have 1 of 3 properties: home phone, cell phone and pager.
