- Q: I have 5 tiny (4 x 4) Cambridge home theater speakers, along with a 5 year old powered sub woofer.The sound is pretty good so far.Do these small speakers wear out with age?Would I better my system by buying another set of small speakers?
- Do you realize that there are a bunch of new stuff that sounds like crap? If you like them then good for you. You can't make your own decisions on what you like? No matter what you buy there will always be something better or someone prefers something over yours. You are worried about wearing out? Why? Speakers are cheap and just replace if you need to.

- It probably isn't the built in speakers. It's more likely the wire to the computer or the input jack. Try a new wire. If that doesn't help see if you can unscrew the jack itself and check the wires that should be attached. If all else fails try external speakers. Good luck!

- Q: i have Durabrand 5.1 surround sound speakers and need help.heres the situation.in the back of the subwoofer theres a thing where u put the speaker wires in and the center speaker (which is the blue one) isnt working.when i put it in the red or gray ones it works fine.so it isnt the speaker thats messed up. the back of the subwoofer is the problem.how would i fix it?and where does the center speaker go?front? back? where?
- Center speaker goes either on top of below your TV. think of it as center-front speaker .ok so the center speaker out is broken on your sub woofer. if that is the case, you have to figure out how to take apart the sub woofer to get to the back of the connector for the center speaker out. Just hope that it's a simple problem like a loose connection and not a electronic/circuit board problem. If it is something more serious, either call the manufacturer or buy a new 5.1 receiver

- Speakers require a power amplifier to drive them. Your phone, laptop and ipod does not have the power to drive the speaker. Hope this will help you out.

- Polk Audio DB651s Slim-Mount 6.5-Inch Coaxial Speakers (Pair) fit sound great in the front and rear deck. With my Kenwood eXcelon KDC-X693 they have less bass then the stock speakers but there is enough to balance the sound perfectly. I would rather leave the bass to my subwoofers anyway. I'm running these speaker only off the headunit (no amp) and they are a little louder then the stock speakers but they are MUCH clearer and can go up A LOT louder without distortion then the stock speakers.

- check the speaker wires that are directly welded onto the speaker itself it may have come loose! Or check the speakers for any damage tears or rips in the speaker
