I strongly recommend that you don't do that. Believe it or not, this is akin to taking the lid off the receiver and reconnecting the wires you find inside - not stable, could ruin your system. However, there may be an easier and better solution. Many surround processors have a mode called PARTY (or some such name, check your manual) that sends full frequency stereo to the rear speakers, and often mono to the center speaker. This should be the effect you are looking for, and when you want to go back to watching a movie you can just change the surround mode!

Even the smallest guitar amps have about a 6' speaker, and it's usually a subwoofer; I think your going to find this speaker isn't going to work well in your amp. If your determined, look for a plus sign or a red spot next to one of the speaker wire posts. This will be your positive side, and the wire going there usually will be red, or have a stripe on it. the black or plain wire will be your negative connection.

Q:I have got Dell Inspiron 6400 laptop and when i increase the volume, the right speaker sound bursts. Is it possible to change the speakers without changing the laptop motherboard or not.

Most laptop speakers are attached to the case and not the mainboard, such is the case with your Dell. The speakers can be replaced with almost any other speaker harvested from other laptops with some minor modification. The connectors will have to be changed or soldered on and you may have to glue the speakers in if the mounts don't fit.

This is normal due to the signal lost over the longer transmission. This can be fixed by adding equal amounts of wire to the shorter run or simply adjusting the balance on the receiver.

Q:I really dont know much about computer speakers but i unplugged everything plugged it back in and its still making a fuzzy sound. Does this mean that their is something wrong with my computer or just my speakers. I think somebody knocked one of my speakers on the ground, but they all have static coming from them. Okay, let's solve this problem. Do both speakers sound fuzzy the same? Is there a buzzing sound in the speakers even when you are not sending music to them? Do you have a headset from an ipod or some other device you can plug into the earphone jack of the computer and see if it sounds okay? Are you plugged into the correct speaker jack. Powered speakers, speakers with a power cube in the wall outlet should be plugged into the Aux out jack of the computer, or line out, not the speaker out. The speaker out jack is for speakers which are not powered from a wall outlet. Maybe you have the speakers plugged into the wrong jack on the computer. Email me if I can give additional help.

The one that you choose is more than enough. Please note that a proper input level to the amplifier determines the sound quality. Excessive input results in annoyed sound from the speakers, whatever may the brand. Also the tone controls in the PC determines the sound quality. Always try to hear the sound in flat frequency response.

different brand speakers have different size backs. you need to take the cover off your door. take out your current speaker and take it to a shop. if the new speaker is as thick as your current one , it will fit. if not, its going to collide with your window. as for screws not matching. a drill fixes it all , or washers :).

Speakers can pick up AC hum from devices. Putting speakers too close to electronic things can cause hum. It won't damage the speakers but the interference is annoying.
