Can You Pay Someone At Home Depot To Cut A Sheet Of Plexiglass Into A Certain Shape Once You've Bought It?
Call home depot and ask
I have a house in an area (southern Ontario) that is subject to wind-storms. I want to enclose my side porch in plastic so that I can smoke there - I just had a baby and can't smoke inside anymore. I put up 5 mm plastic with staples and strapping wood held up with finishing nails, but in the first wind-storm most of it came down. Would tarps work better? I can't afford to do it in properly with lattice and plywood right now, although that is my ultimate goal. Also I am alone here with my baby, my husband is a long-hauler and I need to be able to do this myself. I can operate a nail gun, a skil-saw, a staplegun. Please advise!
hmm. that's what we do at my house for winter and it's never failed us yet. Maybe you have too much space between the staples or they're too close to the edge? Another idea is you could nail them down by hand and bend the nail to cover a longer area of the plastic

Yes, plastic sheets can be used as greenhouse panels. They are commonly used due to their affordability, durability, and ability to provide insulation and light diffusion for plants.
s. If it takes 1.026 x 10^-4 s for the bullet to pass throuhg the plastic, what average force impeded the bullets's motion through the plastic? please help
Force is change of momentum / time initial momentum of the bullet is Pi = 15*10^-3 kg*300 m/s final momentum is Pf = 15*10^-3 kg*90 m/s change of momentum ?P = 15*10^-3(300 - 90) = 3.15 kgm/s And F = ?P/t = 3.15 kgm/s / 1.026*10^-4 s F = 30701.75 kgm/s^2 (= N) OG
Yes, plastic sheets are generally resistant to discoloration caused by chemicals.
Plastic sheets are generally not considered eco-friendly due to their production process, non-biodegradable nature, and contribution to pollution and waste.
