FAQ

I already tried lemon juice, baking soda, comet. Please help me
Clorox? Pour some on the spot or in the sink and let it soak. SimpleGreen or SpitFire may work as well if you let it soak - that stuff can get rid of most stains.
hey guys, today i barfed in my bathroom sink and it got clogged. how would i unclog it? i have no plunger or drainer fluid, so what could i do? thanks
Stop drinking so much... Buy a cheap plunger. Use the kitchen sink to brush your teeth for now...
Our house was built in 1992. The faucet is old and needs to be replaced. At one point we had purchased a Moen faucet, but the new faucet had like rigid pipe connections whereas the old one has what appears to be soft copper much smaller pipe connections. Im just wondering if this is something that is not easily done. Do they still sell the faucets with the soft copper lines? Or do we need a plumber to do this?
if your sink has shut off valves on it . you will be ok simply remove all the plumbing from shut off valve to sink . in replacement use specially designed sink supply tubes that are chrome and flexible it will be a snap and no plumber needed . not the solid looking chrome these are supply lines that are corrugated stainless wrapped around a pipe
I recently renovated my upstairs bathroom and used a vanity top with a pre-attached undermount sink. The sink didnt have an overflow hole, but I didnt think that I would have a problem until my girlfriend left the water running with the drain closed! What I want to know is if it would be practical to do something like drill a hole in the sink and somehow add an outlet that would connect to the drain. Does this even make sense, or should I try something else? Any help would be appreciated.
what is overflow in bathroom sink
how to unglue a bathroom sink from the wall?
ben, bathroom sinks are generally hung to the wall using a metal support bracket. remove any silicone around the sink's perimeter. remove water and drain connections, simply pry sink upward and it shall come off - drywall and or surface texture might come off as well so use care -
I need help on how to solve my problem: a 100% plugged bathroom sink. Its plugged with years of puke and frosted flakes recently. Nasty i know. Can i buy like a liquid drain all or am i gonna have to call a plumber? Thanks.
Call plumber. When you do tell them your problem as you have written here, then tell them that you don't want a decent guy to do it but who is the biggest areshole of a plumber in town. This is because if you rang me with this problem I would tell you to f-off you are obviously a pig and I would not be that happy sticking my hands or face any where near your puke and you should get an as-hole like yourself so you can share your filth with another ******.
How to choose a good basin ah? How about the musicians of the family?
Good table to see glazed, and the level of wear resistance. Like the musicians of the pot is made of glazed very good. Very smooth texture is better, that glaze is very thick.
About 10-12 years ago we had our bathroom sink resurfaced (I don't know what with, and it's now rather pliable/rubbery), and it's beginning to peel around the faucet area, and in some very small spots in the main part of the sink bowl. Is there a best way to remove the new surface, which is quite ugly peeling, to get back to the old surface? Thanks.
General contractor (12 years) It's a Paint specifically used to Porcelain called Tough as Tile its a self leveling epoxy. You got 10 years out of it, so it did it's job very well, but to be honest...Your better off just getting a new sink. It would be well worth it in the long run. Sinks are very inexpensive now-a-days. Good luck.
