FAQ

Very weird question here. I am petsitting for a family with several cats and dogs. The youngest kitten is living in a bathroom, currently (it is the only small, enclosed, safe place for him to stay until the family returns). Unfortunately, despite his having a clean litterbox, he is constantly pooping in the sink, which is unpleasant for me to deal with--obviously! How can I discourage him from doing this without really disciplining or hurting him in any way? I can't easily put something over the sink that he couldn't pull down and hurt himself with.
Um.. He shouldn't be living in a bathroom.. That might be the problem.. But if you are strictly told to keep him in there or something like that then I guess keep him in >_<.. But after he goes in it.. clean it out really good and get some disinfecting stuff.. also you might should buy or try and find a pet odor eliminator and that will get rid of the smell and the habit probably. Also you should keep a close eye on him and when he jumps on the counter or the sink, firmly say NO and pick him up and put him in his litterbox. Then pick up his paw and push the litter around with his paw. This always works when training cats to use the litter box. about 99% of the time it works. If the litterbox hasn't been cleaned (like washed out with soap and water) at least once a month.. you should do that. Just dump the litter out and fill it halfway with soap and water.. then maybe if its dirty enough, scrub it with a sponge or something. Then wait for it to dry and put it back in the bathroom and fill it with litter of course. Also if it smells try sprinkling two spoonfuls of baking soda on the litter. You might have to put something else for the cat to go to the restroom in while you are cleaning it. Or make sure the cat has just gone before cleaning it out. Well this is all the info I can give you. hope this helps!
both the sinks are flooding from the drain up. there is crap in the sink from the drain. its disgusting! and to keep it from overflowing i have to just pour the water out with a cup into the tub. help please!
Get a bucket place it under the P trap under the sink. Remove the compression nut on the trap and loosen the one holding the pipe in place at the wall. Drain the trap and if the line is full let it back drain into the bucket dump it in the toilet instaed of the the tub. Why the toilet ? It handles aoil and paper on a regular basis, the tub doesn't. There fore the tub drain is prone to clogging just as bad as the sink., Clean the trap out with hot water and scrub it out with a flexible brush. Run a sink tape down the drain and give it a few hardy turns and work it in and out of the drain pipe. This will dislodge most clogs and then just reassemble and flush the sink with Hot water.
Basin basin pool fell, and what can be fixed again,
Structural glue. Can make the basin after the basic eternal, unless broken
What is the height of the conventional bathroom table counter cabinet?
There are some users because of the height of the reasons, the conventional basin height is not suitable for their use, you need to make appropriate adjustments to the height of the basin, in this case the bathroom basin height is how much? Just pay attention to a principle: toilet basin height maintained at the user I am about half the height of the height of the more appropriate, such a high degree of user use is also very comfortable.
So I live in an appartment, the upstairs of a house. Everytime I go to brush my teeth all I can smell is POO! I know this is disgusting and I don't know what to do about it???
you could buy on eof the expensive pain in th butt filters...or just call the apt maintence folks. I had this happen, and just took a glass of water to them and told them to check it out. It has a lot to do with city vs. well water also. The city puts some icky stuff in the water sometines, and sometimes there can be gunk in the pipes. Either way, I wouldn't worry about it harming me, though I would be having the apt people get it fixed. Not a great way to start your day, I imagine... read some of the info on this page as well...
The basin of the leading with a single hole or a good three holes
And should first choose the leading and then select the basin, otherwise the basin on the hole and the faucet may be different.
I live in the first floor of a two floor apartment. When someone in up-stair uses the kitchen sink, the dirty water flows back to my kitchen sink. It stays in the sink for couple of minutes then goes away. Sometimes the odorous water overflows and makes my kitchen floor very smelly. The super of out apartments seems to be struggling to find out why it is happening. He changed the pipe. cleaned it, etc. nothing seems to be working. DOes anyone know the cause. Please help! It snowed yesterday, and I do not have if that has anything to do with the situation.
you both share a common drain line and some body is putting grease down the drain and its choking the pipe, drain cleaner and a sink plunger might clear it if not then a small drum auger will help. then followed by lots of hot water, and tell your upstairs neighbor to refrain from using their sink until you finish clearing the drain, for best results bail out the water and have hot water ready to put in . people take for granted that all goes down ok but after time it builds up to the point of blockage that pipe is cold and it clings and just builds up to where a pea can block it. good luck and just changing a piece of pipe don't get the blockage I have a 35 foot drum snake and some times I barely make it to the clog it (the kitchen drain line) runs all the way to the main sewer line .
