Death Metal, Thrash Metal... also can you give an example of each?
Nu-Metal as in Not-Metal?, even bad Grunge is better than that crap. It's like when you were a kid and they put 'New' on the front of your favourite Saturday Morning cartoon show, which meant they had changed the voices, the theme music and added pointless annoying new characters and it just wasn't funny anymore. That's how I feel about Nu-Metal.
Please name a kind of metal, the definition of that metal and a band of that kind of metal
You can not use lye on aluminum. It can be pitted. Go to an auto constituents store and purchase four hundred grit moist or dry sandpaper. Sand the metallic soft with a drop of detergent as a lubricant.
what are teh metals used for communications and their cost., efficiency resistance?
Metal + Acid = Metal salt + Hydrogen for example: Sodium + Hydrochloric Acid -----> Sodium Chloride + Hydrogen. 2Na(s) + 2HCl(aq) 2NaCl(aq) + H2(g) boring much? :) hope this helps
I was going to use baby oil to make the metal shiny.
Well, that would be hydrogen gas. When a metal reacts with water hydrogen is always produced. Also, depending on the reacting metal a hydroxide or an oxide is produced. When you look at the electrochemical series of metals then the first metals, the active ones (Li - Mg/Al), form a hydroxide when reacting with water. For example: 2Na + 2H2O -> 2NaOH + H2. Metals from Mn to Fe form an oxide (when heated - water must be in a vapourised state). For example: Zn + H2O -> ZnO + H2. Metals starting from Ni don't react with water. I wrote Mg/Al when talking about active metals because normally the surface of aluminium is protected by its oxide and therefore the reaction doesn't take place very easily. However, if the oxide is removed then aluminium and water react very well and produce a hydroxide. I hope that helps! Have a nice day!
Anyone know of any good metal bands that play with orchestras?

I'm looking for some newer heavy metal bands that bare a resemblance sound-wise to classic heavy metal. Help me out? My two favorite classic metal bands are Iron Maiden and Judas Priest.
It's hard to say. Quite frankly, it's impossible to determine the origin of any type of music as it is an evolutionary process and you can only determine what genre of music preceded and may have influenced it. As for metal, it can be traced back to the late 60's and 70's with Black Sabbath, Iron Butterfly, Blue Cheer, etc and of course, there was the new wave of British heavy metal in the late 70's. Back to NWOBHM, I guess that's where most people consider other types of metal to have branched off from. Thrash emerged soon after in the late 70's and early 80's, and death soon after thrash. Death metal was never as popular as thrash or heavy metal, which is why a lot of its origins can't be traced as easily. Death bands that emerged in the early 80's had elements of both thrash and death. One example is Possessed who are considered both death and thrash, but seen as highly influential on the death metal genre. A few more early death metal bands are Atheist and Carcass though they are considered grindcore, particularly on their early albums. Though the roots of death metal go back to the 80's, there has been a new wave of death metal in the 90's. Bands like Cannibal Corpse and others (I don't listen to much recent death metal) have becomeincreasingly popular. This in turn caused a massive emergence of melodic death metal originating in Europe, particularly Scandinavian countries such as Finland. In my opinion, many types of metal originated in Europe and later caught on in America. However, one very American genre is thrash. Which is a whole other story and I've already written you an essay. Hahaha. ;)
heavy metal or whatever kind of metal
No. Its punk played with drop tuned guitars and powerchords in rock songstructures. Metal influence is minimal.
