Usually rechargeable packs require a very long recharge time. Radios, phones, etc will have times from 6hrs to 12hrs depending on the run time of the battery.

Hi Hadad, I have a galaxy s3 and an iphone 4s. I actually got a 6000mAh battery charger first but I found out that it can only charge my phone about twice. So I get another one which is RavPower 10400mAh. Cannot tell how much I love it. It comes in portable and does look like a neat one. It has 2 outputs so I can charge 2 of my devices at the same time. Toyota uses prismatic NiMH modules from Panasonic. Each module consists of six 1.2 V cells connected in series. The Pack The Toyota Prius II battery stack consists of 38 prismatic NiMH modules connected in series. It delivers a nominal 273.6 Volts and has a 6.5 Ah capacity. The modules are stacked side by side and then compressed together in a rigid, non-expandable structure that prevents expansion from internal pressures. The complete battery pack consists of the battery stack, enclosure for structural support and airflow, battery electronic control unit/monitor, relays and safety switch. The weight of the complete battery pack is 53.3 kg. The pack is horizontally positioned in the boot of the vehicle partially under the back seat. Power electronics (inverter, DC-AC converter) are under the bonnet and a blower for moving air and associated air ducts are in the boot. Discharge power capability of the Prius pack is around 20 kW at 50% SOC with regenerative capability of 14.5 kW at 2C. The power capability increases with higher temperatures and decreases at lower temperatures. Active thermal management can improve power capability at lower temperatures.

Q:I ordered a pair of Astro A40 Wireless headphones. After they shipped I did some research and found out that they come with 3 standard AAA batteries that you put into the transmitter. They do have an option, however, for a rechargeable battery pack that can go in place of the AAA batteries (they sit in a battery holder that is then removeable). It might work, if the batteries are of the same chemistry as their batteries, and the holder is not special, which has special contacts or a switch closure. I would probably do it because I know what I am doing. I have taken cells from older cell-phone packs, and used them in a regular cell charger, and as regular cells in things, so it stands to reason it can go the other way.
Q:I have a Canon PowerShot camera. It does take batteries, it takes those square battery pack things. Do those things need to be replaced a lot? I've had mine for less than a year but, I take tons of pics and my battery won't work now even after I charge it--How often do they need to be changed?
It would help to know the model number of the camera you are using. Also, the battery's model number found on the sticker on the back of the battery. The newer ones, such as NB-4L and NB-5L have a slightly longer battery life, but either way they shouldn't be dead immediately after charging. I had this same problem when I bought a third party battery pack for my Canon SD550. The battery worked fine for a few weeks, but after a while it could barely hold any charge at all. I would recommend that you buy an official Canon battery pack (one that has Canon engraved into the battery itself). If this doesn't work, you may have a problem with your camera itself.
