Use a paper clip on that small hole on the top of the iPhone. The SIM card drawer will slide open from there. You can't access the battery at all.

Q:I have one of those sealed battery/jumpstart boxes that I use to jumpstart a car when the battery dies. This is what I normally do to jumpstart a battery.1) I plug the batterypack into a wall outlet, let it charge overnight.2)The jumpstart box has a red and black clamp that I place on each terminal of the battery.3) The jumpstart box has a dial that once everything is clamped onto the battery, I turn the dial to jumpstart and then start the car.4) After car is started, I turn the dial off, remove the clamps from the battery and Im done.My QUESTION is as follows. I have been working on my car for over a month and the battery has been out of the car. At this stage, Im almost positive that the battery will almost if not completely dead.Is it ok for the car battery to remove it from the car completely, hook up the clamps to it from the jumpstart box, turn the dial over to jumpstart and just let the battery charge?If Yes, how long should i leave them on.ty
It might work,,i personally cant see why not. The jump start pack u have is really a rechargeable drycell in a plastic box. the ''switch'' actually connects the jumper wires to the drycell. the charger is really just a small trickle charger,,,of the same type u can buy online for $10. So it should work with no problem.

Q:Hi, i have a 48 led IR illuminator that is powered by a DC12V 500mA mains adaptor. Can i run off a battery pack containing 8 AA 2900 mAh batteries? Will this work or will i need to add in some sort of resistance so the leds don't burn out?
That should work fine as long as you make sure the positive and negative connection of the battery pack matches the adapter. Your LED unit already has the resistors built in because it is already running off 12 volts DC from the adapter. The above answer is rightrechargeable AA's put out a lower voltage but your battery pack may work anyway (the LED's may be dimmer though).
Q:I have the battery pack for this phone, but it doesn't say in the directions if you're supposed to take off the layer of plastic wrap that covers all but the ends of the batteries. Look at the voltage of the battery pack, it's probably 3.7. I've never heard of a phone burning up unless it takes a lightning hit. The plastic should stay on, it's protection from the battery leaking. You won't start a fire.

The key here is to remember that momentum is conserved. Momentum is mass times velocity. Are you sure you've got the masses right, surely the TV camera is heavier than the battery pack? Since (relative to each other), neither astronaut, nor camera nor battery is moving, the total momentum can be taken to be zero. So after throwing the camera away, the total momentum should be zero m/s. That means the astronaut should have equal momentum in magnitude, but opposite in direction, to the camera. Let's take the direction the camera was thrown in to be negative. Then the momentum of the camera after it is released is (1.0 kg)(-18 m/s) -18 kg m/s. So the momentum after discarding the camera must be 18 kg m/s. Dividing by the mass of the astronaut (plus battery pack, as he's still got it at this point), which is 100 kg, gives an increase in speed of 0.18 m/s. Now we do the same thing with the battery pack. Since, relative to each other, neither are moving, we can say that the total momentum before releasing it is zero, so the total momentum after releasing it must be zero also. The momentum of the battery pack, since it is thrown in the negative direction also, is (10 kg)(-11 m/s) -110 kg m/s. Therefore the total momentum of the astronaut must increase by 110 kg m/s also, and dividing by the mass of the astronaut (90 kg) gives a speed increase of 1.22 m/s.

Q:i bought 2 gameware rechargable battery packs for my xbox 360 a year a go and they stopped working about 4 - 6 months ago, they only work when they are plugged in with the wire thats supposed to charge them but now there broke they wont charge they only turn on. there is no reason for them braking, or none that i know of. can somebody tell me whether the official microsoft rechargable battery packs do this aswell, because is they do i will buy some of them, but if they dont im not going to bother.
I believe GameStop has MicroSoft packs, but I am not sure of the brand. I have had my packs since November 07 and they work fine.
