- Q:Is there a certain direction and reason a construction worker will leave a crane facing a certain direction.
- I don't think there is a particular direction unless prevailing winds are a factor. Here in Las Vegas, cranes, when idle don't seem to have a pattern. At least from what I have seen.

- each crane is so different. it depends on the rated crane load, the lifted distance from the crane and actuall load to be lifted. Each crane an envelope of angles to the horizontal, lifted load, and distance from the crane. The crane operator must insure that he is within this envelope or the crane may topple over. Also, the wind at the time of the lift must be considered. If you can picture a seesaw with loads pivoting about a fulcrum. When two people are on the seesaw, one person is the crane and the other is the load to be lifted. Only in the case of a crane, the fulcrum is at the crane itself with a large dead load counter weight behind the cab operator.

- I believe it too. You just make 1000 paper cranes, and I think that only the victim of the disease is supposed to make it. Oh yea, and you hang the cranes around the victim. This is kind of irrelevant, but once i read a book Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes. It's about a girl who tries to make 1000 paper cranes in order to get cured. It's really sad, but that's where I'm getting my info from.
- Q:I know that there's Tibetan and Fujian but what are all the styles and which is the best one to learn ( in your opinion)
- Fujian White Crane is short stances, short hands and close range fighting system. The other white crane is said to be from Tibet but developed in Guang Dong, southern part of China, and Hong Kong. This style emphases on deep stances, long arm movements attacks. Both of them are great styles. Steak and Lobster. which one is the best to eat? Your pick!

- Generally tower cranes have their electrical panels at the ground floor. Troubleshooting in the tower crane is not different to any other electrical system. First check the power circuit healthiness--switches,fuses,contactors and then go for control circuit. The cranes have few additional interlocks for excessive forward movement, extra long travel etc. Just go through the drawing and u will get the problem solved

- It would work but there's the danger of the load swinging damaging the crane or other vehicles or losing it's centre of gravity toppling etc. when it's moving. For most lifts the outriggers are required to stabilise the crane itself - not the load. You're dead right - the on-site safety protocols that are in place these days demand that everything is done absolutely the right way. If anything goes wrong there's be hell to pay for anyone involved even if they've done their best to get things right.
