- Q: I was cooking earlier and my smoke detectors went off. I live in an apartment complex and have three alarms (one in the hallway, and one in each bedroom). Yet, that alarm is blinking rapidly a green light. An hour or so later we tried to plug in the other two alarms, yet they won't stop going off once attached by a/c power. - Best answer, the batteries are low and need to be replace. I have a hard wire system with battery back-up. I replace the battery the the alarm stop chirping. I have (4) units in my townhouse. Just save $21.00 an hour for Handyman services.

You could get him a gift card to a local audio store, ummm you said speakers but does that include like subs and an amp? If he doesnt have those maybe he be interested in those. or maybe a gas card if he has to pay for his gas
