- There may be several reasons you were unable to resolder your joint. If there is water in the line dripping into the joint, You didn't clean the joint properly or you didn't use a flux. Depending on your soldering skills, you may find it easier to cut the old joint out and replace it with two couplings, a couple of pieces of 1/2 copper and a new elbow. Remember to clean the copper and use soldering flux or your joints will leak. If your soldering skills are in question then they do make compression fittings that slip over the 1/2 copper and tighten with a couple of wrenches. You still need two couplings, two short pieces of 1/2 copper and a new elbow. Check with the staff at Lowes or Home Depot for assistance if you not sure what to buy. Compression fittings are really easy to work with. Sorry but there really isn't a cement that will fix your problem properly

- Depends on the fitting, tractors use a several different types, JIC, ORB, O ring face, standard pipe, just to name a few, and the only one that would require a sealant would be pipe, and the Japanese aint real keen on using pipe, so untill you know what you have your going to need to find out, in a lot of cases you have to relpace the whole hose as the fittings are pressed onto it.

- PLEASE take your daughter back to the doctors, hassle them if you have to!!! Last november I got a call from alder hey childrens hosp saying I had to take my son to them ASAP as he needed emergency surgery, because his bladder kidneys were so enlarged through blocked urine. I had my son back forward to the doctors at least 30 times b/c my son was bed wetting almost every night sometimes during the day, and he kept saying it was just a phase!!! It was only when my sons school go involved arranged an appointment with a paediatrician who in turn arranged my son to have bladder kidney scans. Just by chance a consultant from Alder Hey seen the scans thats when he called me, telling me to take Steven ASAP. What was happening was he wasnt passing urine properly (only drips at a time) and the rest of the urine was travelling back up to his bladder kidneys making them very inlarged. So when my son was relaxed sleeping the urine was trickling out, making him wet the bed. His kidneys were so damaged that he was weeks away from total kidney failure. I'm not trying to scare or frighten you, but PLEASE keep hassling your doc for scans etc.just in case!!! Hope things get sorted soon for you your daughter :D

ADDITIONAL DETAILS, I took a look on the new tire rack web site and there is a section for tire testing for snow tires, the Bridgestone/Firestone Blizzak tested as well as any other of the stud less snow tires and there is now a section for customer long term reviews for many different tires that may be helpfull as well.

- I would use Pex. You can buy everything you need at Home Depot. You will find Pex is a lot easier to run through walls than copper. I prefer to use stainless steel clamps than compression fittings. The crimping tool os expensive, but the time savings makes up for it. Good Luck!
