Operations Conditions
1. The medium temperature should not be over 60oC, the density 1200Kg/m3, and the pH value within 5-9.
2. During running, the pump must not be lower than the permitted lowest liquid level.
3. Rated voltage 380 V, rated frequency 50 Hz. The motor can run successfully, only under the condition the deviations of both rated voltage and frequency are not over ± 5%.
4. The maximum diameter of the solid grain going through the pump has not to be larger than 50% of that of the pump outlet.

- I vote for the check valve in the well drop pipe. The valve and seat are both brass - no rubber seal - so it's bound to always leak somewhat. If the leak has increased recently, it's due to wear beginning to show or a bit of sand caught in it. A little extra on the electric bill is a lot less than the cost of pulling the well to replace the $20.00 valve. Another possibility:Your pressure tank air cushion may have lost air and become partially waterlogged. This will increase the pump operation. It won't run as long but it will run more often. The system pressure will drop faster than normal. Perhaps this is what you perceive as a leak. Ask your well man how to check the air pressure in your particular tank.

- Brakes aren't very expensive if you do it yourself. If it's just pads your looking at $20 and a little d.i.y. If it needs rotors or calipers walk away now. He knows it's going to need a new water pump? Sounds like a recurring issue then. A water pump isn't something you can really spot the wear on until you either hear it beginning to knock or see your coolant on the ground. But if it's doing either of those things the car isn't drivable. Water pump will run you about $70 for the part. Your probably looking around $200 for the part and install. My advice, take your money and walk away.

- You have essentially two correct answers, but looking at the year of your engine I would like to add some clarity. If memory serves, the 1972 engine doesn't have what we today think of as a tell-tale. Meaning that nice little stream of water that comes out of a tube on the starboard side of the engine. Using my poor memory I believe there is and exhaust port, usually one or two outlets together, centered in the rear of the engine, just below the fiberglass engine cover, maybe a little lower. And again, if memory serves, water doesn't flow in a stream from there, but kinda comes bubbling/spraying out. This will be the place to check for exhaust water, and whether or not the impeller is working. Also, like the idea of using the earmuffs, just in case there is thru-hub exhaust you can see it also. If the hub is in the water you can see it exhaust water.

- never let the coolant pour put a pan under the car to drain it if it is clean you can reuse it if it is not then take it to the city dump they will take it for free some aoutopart stores will take it for free but please don't let it pour or go on the drain that **** is really really bad for the water we dirnk , and for the guide on how to replace it it is really simply use labels and plastic bags with labels to identify the parts , i read this advice before replacing the maniffold on my e 350 and i said **** that im not stupid , guess what i did replaced it and everything but at the end i was missing screws and i had some screws extra that did;t fit anywhere , learn from the advice not from your own experince
- Q: I have a 1990 GMC K1500 Sierra and about 1 week ago I went to check the anti-freeze level. I noticed it was a tiny bit down. So I look down at the lower radiator hose and it had a slow drip. So the next day I changed the anti-freeze, New thermostat, and a New lower radiator hose. So I thought it was fine but yesterday I went to go check the anti-freeze and the level was down. I look at the lower radiator hose and it has a slow drip again. The hose I replace was Brand New. Could this be a water pump? I did notice a tiny bit of anti-freeze on the water pump. - It depends a lot on the engine in the car, and knowing the year would really help. $600 is outrageously expensive for the 2.2L engine and outrageously cheap for the 2.4L engine. You can replace your own on the 2.2, with a little help from somebody experienced. I definitely don't recommend trying water pump replacement on the 2.4L engine! No timing belt on either. If the leak is slow enough you can carry conventional antifreeze and purified water (no tap water!) and refill every morning and every afternoon. When you are adding more than a quart of the combined liquids (either premix or manually use half of each) you will have to come up with an alternate plan. As thebax says, stop leak won't work on a water pump.
