Does anyone know if this is illegal?: I've been told many times never to use epoxy with acryllic because acrylic is water based. Water based things, especially in large amounts, do not work well in epoxy. The fast drying of acrylic is half the problem. It dries through a much different process and chemical situation than epoxy. You can use very little amounts, but for all intensive purposes, dont use acrylic. oil paint is much better but dont use a terribly large amount either because it will gum up the epoxy and it will dry very slow

Q: How does the Van Der Graff Genorator work?: ARALDITE epoxy adhesive components should be stored in their original, sealed containers at room temperature. When stored at temperatures from 59-77°F (15-25°C), the resin and hardener will remain in useable condition for 12 months from date of shipping from Huntsman. I suspect other variants are similar. Heating unmixed components of epoxy for an extended(?) time at high (?) temperature is obviously not a good idea.
