I cant pull the cabinet out either because he already hooked up the water lines/plumbing. Help!: A piece of wood like a shim or lathe slat 1/4 X width of hole +bit more. Drill a hole in the center of the wood and put a string through and tie into a not bigger than the hole, insert the piece of wood in the hole in the wall {trim down until it can fit but still want it little wider to stop against} and pull back on string until flat against the back of the wall. This is the backing you can use to patch the hole. You will need to hold it in place while applying first layer. Try to include the backing in patch work to hold. Good Luck

Q: I just found the cabinet underneath my bathroom sink to be completely soaked and this is the second time its happened, first time was a couple months ago. After first time, I shut off both valves and checked all the fittings and nothing seemed to be leaking. I turned the water back on and everything was fine. However, today I came to find the same thing happen. I've shut the water off again at this point, but I'm guessing none of the fittings have a normal. Could there be some sort of back up in the pipes?? I'm in Ohio so it is fairly cold right now and was also a couple months ago. Possible that something is freezing slightly and backing up the system? I also have young children who could have clogged it with something. Please help: If its periodic it could well be the waste pipe or trap

Q: how d i caulk around the sink it seems that im mentally challenged at caulking. i do all of the house repairs with ease just not this. its a circular sink and the old stuff failed after 10 years. i bought GE 3 hour silicone shower caulking to do it with the caulking gun. when i start applying it it looks good and every thing then i go to wipe it then it spreads onto the counter top and sides of the sink. then when im trying to clean it up with a rag it picks the caulking up fine but then takes out allot of the stuff i just put around the sink and looks un even. then by the time i clean one part it has started to dry then i go wipe the other part and it goes into balls. honestly i dont know how to do it. any help would be great.: When I was remodelling and putting in the bathroom sinks (3) I got a tip from my brother in law, mr fix it all. Dip your finger in rubbing alcohol, the kind for your skin to clean your lines of caulking up with. You can dip a rag in it or a paper towel and clean up the edges or where you smeared it. That will work. It cleans up, just fine that way. Try it. Good luck!
