Q:Well I was cleaning my floor because we were about to install new tile flooring and when I went outside to get a load of tile my girlfriend flushed the bucket of water down the toliet without checking if a rag was in it and by the time I got back the toliet backed up and she shut both the toliet and bathroonm sink valves off, well the toliet I fixed and got the rag. But the sink, once I turned the valves on the water barely trickled out.....Whats the problem and how do I fix it??
Assumming you are talking about the water cutoff valve under the sink. Either the valve isn't working (it shut but won't come back on) or there is an obstruction. Sometimes the stem washer will dislodge and be come the obstruction. If the valve in question is screwed on (not soldered) I'd just replace the valve. I'm sure you know to cut the water off outside and drain as much water as you can and be prepared to catch more water when you loosen stuff. Or, your can take the valve apart and check for obstruction and proper functionality. Either way I wish you luck.
Q:How should the bathroom washbasin be installed?
The depth of the washbasin and the strength of the water is proportional to, if the water when the water splashed on the body, which is feeling the most uncomfortable things, according to conventional installation fluency, generally do not occur water splashed on the body of things, Because the depth of the washbasin determines whether the water flow is strong. Remember not in the bottom of the shallow pool to install the thick water flow of the faucet, so when in the wash, will certainly be a splash of water. In the purchase of washbasin, to choose the bottom of the curvature, not too flat, or wash the water will accumulate in the inside.
Q:My bathroom sink seems to smell regardless of what you dump down it. The bath drain is fine along with all the rest of the drains in the house besides the bathroom sink drain... What should be done to make the smell go away for good?(while being cost effective as I am renting an apartment?)... Should I just have a plumber try something or ? Thanks for your detailed answer... Tom
take the trap off and remove all the black gunk that I'm sure is in there
Q:how do you clean an acrylic bathroom sink basin?
Acrylic Bathroom Sinks
Q:Designers to my home design of the length of the tank about two meters, this size is enough to put a double basin, but personally feel that dual basin is not practical, would like to use a single basin, but that a single basin may not look good Well, the bathroom table will have a large area of idle space, you think how to choose?
Free space can do the cabinet or put the plastic drawer cabinet, put the detergent powder, what soap, drying racks, clips, debris a lot of storage space is very practical.
Q:I recently renovated my upstairs bathroom and used a vanity top with a pre-attached undermount sink. The sink didnt have an overflow hole, but I didnt think that I would have a problem until my girlfriend left the water running with the drain closed! What I want to know is if it would be practical to do something like drill a hole in the sink and somehow add an outlet that would connect to the drain. Does this even make sense, or should I try something else? Any help would be appreciated.
what is overflow in bathroom sink
Q:My own home decoration to see the market with the basin with pots and plates with all-ceramic, all man-made stone, there are panels are artificial stone, ceramic basin embedded in the panel below, do not know what kind of good, building materials market A circle pocket down and found that ceramic durable, but the price is cheaper than man-made stone, but also to listen to some people say that artificial stone with a long time will crack, really different opinions, do not know there is no expert to point one or two?
Personally recommend you use ceramic pots, good ceramic pot prices and artificial stone prices should be almost even higher. If you are used in the bathroom, easy to clean, no ash, no mold is the most important, the most suitable for these ceramic pots.
Q:What is the size of the twin basin?
According to the size of the bathroom space and the needs of the family, select the appropriate basin, of course, we must take into account the height of the basin size. Basin size is not certain, the basin size may be small or small. In the purchase of the basin when the first consideration is the size of the basin, and then also consider the material, style and other factors.
Q:Stick with glue twice, no matter
Buy a keg of marble glue and curing agent, it is best to be transparent. Thoroughly clean up the combination of clean marble and the stage basin.
Q:So yeha i live with my family in college, and its my duty to clean the bathrooms, been doing it for a long time but ive noticed these ugly brown spots and i cant seem to get rid of them. They are only on the sink and on the flat surface not the bowl where the water comes out. I've tried cleaning it with comet spray, and also CLR and bleach.....i dont know if its mold that can be removed or what, so whenever i clean it never looks like its clean because of these yellow/ light brown spots and my dad who fixes everything in the house doesnt know what to to either.
try nail polish remover. but only on the tile! i've used nail polish remover to get wax and other impossible junk off my bathroom counters.
