Q: It's a really nice 5'x9' woven American Indian area rug, but the people that owed it never took care of it. It cost over $100. to take it to a professional. Q: I have a large family room - 25 x 16 feet. I currently have a 9x12 rug on one side and want to add another on the other side of the room. The rug that works best with my existing rug only comes in 5'8x9 or 8'8x10. The first seems a little small and the second a little big. Can you have two large rugs in one room or does that overpower the room? I would only have about 14 between the two rugs if I went with the larger rug. It seems like it would look like a little landing strip. But I don't want the small one to look like a postage stamp. What to do?: Lay out a template of each rug size for the chair and ottoman area. You should be able to see more clearly which size would be best. Also the rug in that area does not have to be large enough for the pieces to set totally on. It merely has to define the area and add interest.

I have my study table and computer.: Yes, tin foil keeps the moisture away from the legs of the furniture and protects both the carpet and the furniture. One problem though is if it is still damp when you put the furniture back on it you have those depressions in the carpet as it will compress then dry that way. Q: so how can i clean a really short haired carpet without chemicals? i've heard something like really hot boiled water in a spray bottle, then sprayed all over the carpet, then vacuuming the carpet works? would it? any help is appreciated, of and its brown normally, im just trying to get some of the dirt and cat hair out of it. thankyou =]: if you're worried about your kitten, try an all natural cleaner to get the dirt out. i use Simple Solutions because my puppy still has accidents on the carpet so I use that to clean it up (it removes his urine odor, cleans the carpet, and is safe if he were to sniff or lick it), there are other options at your local pet store too. as for the cat hair, try a broom or a bristle brush, it should collect all the hair into little clumps so you can just pick those up.
