- Q: Taiwan basin water pipe can be changed for a separate or need to change the basin?
- Taiwan basin sewer broken water pipe on it, why change the basin.
- Q: Bathroom basin how much money
- Choose the bathroom to love my home to see
- Q: how to umplug bathroom sink?
- 80% of lavatory sink drains clog at the stopper. Remove all the water you can first. Look under the sink and you will find a rod sticking out of the drain perpendicular to the pipe. unscrew the nut that holds this rod to the drain. pull it out of the drain being careful not to drop any of the parts on the rod if there are any. pull the stopper out of the drain. use a steel hanger with a hook on the end to swirl around in the drain to remove debris. don't run water without pop-up rod as it will leak under the sink. put the stopper back in the drain with the hole facing the back of the pipe so the rod will go into it. put the rod back in and tighten the nut finger tight. flush with cold water and check for leaks around the nut and the pop up rod. tighten as needed to stop leaks. If that doesn't work you can remove the p trap under the sink and empty it. if there is no debris clogging it you can snake through the pipe sticking out of the wall (trap arm). after you snake the drain reinstall the trap and flush with cold water. check the trap for leaks and tighten as needed. I NEVER recommend Draino because it doesn't work very often and when it doesn't, you end up with a sink full of dangerous caustic chemicals. A lot of plumbers will charge extra if they have to deal with it because it can burn you, blind you, ruin your clothes and ruin drain machine cables.
- Q: I cleaned out the Tube under the bathroom sink, there was gunk in there. However when i put the tube back in it's still clogged. I even cleaned the shaft running from the drain to the tube.
- you need to run a drain snake into the pipes in the wall to unclog them something like this sounds like your whole drainage system is not draining properly and may be backing up causing the pipes to fill up and get blocked. p-traps under sinks get blocked but pipes in the wall never get blocked unless you have serious drainage issues. you would be surprised the things that end up in pipes, toys, trinkets, paper products, underwear, people flush some strange stuff and at some point it can get stuck and stop proper drainage. assuming you have a regular sewer line and not a septic tank or private sewer system: to check the sewer lines, start by checking your sewer cleanout and run water in there (full pressure open water hose) it should not have water backing up. then flush all the toilets and see if you have good amounts of water flowing by. next to check the drain lines, you need to get on the roof and stick the water hose in each roof vent pipe for a good 5 minutes. run water in there (full pressure open water hose) it should not have water backing up in any sinks or drains and you should see clean clear water running past when looking into the sewer cleanout where the sewer line exits the house. this ensure the drains are clear and any blockage you have would be found between the sink or drain and the pipes in the wall and that can easily be snaked to clear the blockage. if you find your drain lines are blocked, you should have all your main drain and sewer lines cleaned out, it does not cost that much to have it done and lasts for 20-30 years.
- Q: Ceramic one Taiwan basin is good or a good platform
- Table pots of water is easy to water out, cleaning trouble, one pot convenient, the use of space. Beautiful and almost, you used to know, I used to use the basin pot, and finally for the one
- Q: I noticed my bathroom sink was looking a bit gunky , so used Kiwi drain unblocker in sachets which i poured down the sink and followed the instructions. But instead of cleaning the pipe, it has blocked the sink and now the water is not draining away! I used the drain unblocker again and this morning used bleach but nothing is shifting it. How can a drain unblocker have caused the sink to block? Any advice would be appreciated.
- Well, look under your sink. The area which has a twistable part,(looks like an upside down cap) twist it off and remove the gunk. But place a pail below it coz all the water will gush out. Then on the tap and rinse it for a little while. That should work. There's probably too much dirt trapped there making water unpassable.
- Q: I am 17 years old and my bathroom sink is clogged apparently with a lot of hair from a year ago and I have told my guardian a numerous amount of times that its having that problem and it needs to be fixed as soon as possible but since they arent doing anything about it then I need to take matters into my own hands and try to fix it and I dont have much money right now so this needs to also be average or cheap. Some one please help oh and tell me where I could also get it.
- Before you waste any money on those one-shot solutions, try this: Find a largish pair of pliers and take the P-trap under the sink loose. Put a bucket or large bowl under before you get it loose. Any water still in the pipe and sink will come out. Tip the P-trap (it's called that because of its shape, not because it's full of pee) and look in it. Can you see the clog right there? Fish it out. Problem's fixed, no money spent. No clog? Reach up into the tailpiece coming down from the sink. Sometimes the clog gets stuck up there (weird when it does, but it happens). Reach into the pipe going into the wall. Fish around, try everything. A cheap drain snake costs about what a gallon of Drano costs, and besides working better, works over and over. Try that instead. Your Drano you use one time and it's gone; the drain snake you use now, hang it up and use it next time, and next time, etc. Got it all? Great, put it all back together. Check for leaks. Job's done! Got a leak? Make sure the washers are pointing the right direction, if they have a shape. Rubber ones are just rectangular in section, hard plastic ones are cones. The nut bears against the flat side, the sharp side wedges between the two pipes as you tighten the nut. Good luck with it.
- Q: Well I was cleaning my floor because we were about to install new tile flooring and when I went outside to get a load of tile my girlfriend flushed the bucket of water down the toliet without checking if a rag was in it and by the time I got back the toliet backed up and she shut both the toliet and bathroonm sink valves off, well the toliet I fixed and got the rag. But the sink, once I turned the valves on the water barely trickled out.....Whats the problem and how do I fix it??
- Try to unscrew the nozzle on the sink. It is very possible that something is stuck in the screen from closing and opening the valves. What do ya have to loose?
- Q: It is a bathroom sink
- All so far are valid answers. I replaced mine with standards from a Big Box Home Imp. store. The issue is to measure the cut out on the counter top, assure that the sink has a lip to cover, perhaps 1/2 inch all around to cover the cut, caulk before setting the new sink,,,After assurance that the plumbing lines up beneath, use the brackets from beneath, that pull the sink tight to the counter top, If they are offered, hook up the down drain pipe to the P Trap, and the intake lines to the faucet, and turn it on,,,slowly at first to determine proper connections. Trailers per say,,,as in tow arounds, often have specifically sized fixturing. Mobile Homes which are not strictly Mobile, can accept regular house fixturing. Most bath sinks are between 19 and 22 inches, oval, round, or otherwise, and all that's best required is pulling the old sink and measuring the opening before you shop. Steven Wolf
