3) What is the difference of Wilton Carpet and Axminster carpet
Wilton carpet, like Axminster carpet, is woven. However the difference between the two methods is the way in which the carpet is woven. Whereas the Axminster yarn is woven into each weft and then cut to the required pile height and then reinserted when that colour is needed again –the Wilton carpet yarn is a continuous strand woven all the way through.
- Q: Ok, i have a white area rug that has a few stains, nothing major.. I want to bleach it to not only get the stains out but i also love the smell of bleach, i bleach my blankets and my sheets every week. Im not really worried about ruining my rug, cause its not like its going to get any better. I know that you need to delute the bleach i just dont know how much to delute or how to go about cleaning the rug. Should i just poor it on or use gloves with a sponge and soak the areas?? Please help :) thanks!
- Take the rug outside to your driveway. Clean a spot on your driveway (soap and water, brush and rinse). Place the rug on that spot. Dilute bleach 10:1. Use scrub brush with a handle. Scrub. Rinse with hose. Hang to dry.

- This is a normal amount for a builder's allowance. They do not allow for top quality..that is the way it works. You can purchase what you want, and they will just take off the allowance and you pay for the extra. Not many will negotiate..this is just the way it works. No biggie..just pay the extra to upgrade to what you want. Your kitchen cupboard, countertop, bathroom, all fixtures and flooring are like this ...upgrades can be had you just have to pay the difference.

- The rug should extend past the chairs when they are being sat in so that all chair legs are on the rug. Measure the area with the chairs pulled out from a table a bit and get a rug that size or slightly larger. The 9 x 12 probably works. Nothing smaller will.

- Hi Laly, my own Trial and Error is where my answer comes from. I had tan carpeting in the living room and added an off white area area rug. I did have it placed in front of the larger sofa. It did not visually work for me. I had no coffee table or anything that held it down again, visually speaking. I would suggest that you throw a sheet folded to the approx size of the area rug similar in color on the floor prior to making a purchase. And see what your opinion of it is. It does work visually if you have a coffee table, this will hold down the lighter rug when viewing your room. Happy decorating!

- Q: Ok so my friend threw up on my other friends carpet so she freaked and grabed toliet cleaner and put it on the carpet and then it hardend now its stiff on the carpet. Step6 Flood the stain with water. Step7 Blot again with the cloth. Step8 Pour a small amount of ammonia over the stain. Step9 Blot again. Step10 Apply a little more detergent to the stain. Step11 Blot again. Step12 Flood the area with water. Step13 Blot one last time. _______________________ Tips : Dry cleaning fluid can be purchased at home supply stores or the dry cleaners. Always test the cleaning solutions on an inconspicuous part of the carpet before using them on a large area. Use a white cloth rather than a colored one to prevent any dyes from coming off on the carpet. As you blot, keep turning the cloth so that you are using a clean, dry section to pick up the stain and the cleaning fluids from the carpet. Don't rub. If using a brush to help clean the stain, always brush from the outer edges of the spill inward to prevent the stain from spreading.

- lol.. not only does my son like carpet food, but he likes carpet! We have frieze (sp) it's like a short shag carpet, he I will see him chewing on something and I run and get it out of his mouth.... it's carpet. If I see him eat food from the floor I try and take it, but I know he is fine. All kids put things in their mouth they shouldn't. Heck, tyler had the dog ball in his mouth yesterday......gross!!! But woke up healthy this morning. :) ~Oh, my son is 11 months
