Q: I want to get a scaffold (industrial) piercing in my upper cartlidge, and really, really, REALLY small gauges in my lower ear (the flab) - I actually want plugs, but that's besides the point. I have ears that connect to my head, and don't hang down if that matters. I also had two piercings on both of my ears where I want my plugs, but they've both closed up if that could interfere with anything. Do you know if I'd be able to get those piercings, and if I can where could I get them? Q: I got my scaffold piercing 2 months ago and its always crusting and and is still sore to touch., is that normal??..Also my hair is caught around one of the balls on the bar and I can't get it out :/ and tips?: I have these problems all the time! They're normal, no worries, because cartilage takes forever to heal! I have been pierced upwards of 11 times so this isn't a new thing to me. Don't touch it! My biggest problems with anything coming out of my piercings after the first month are from touching them! Also unless the piercing is really red and puffy, the stuff coming out is probably sebum. Your body is just healing. Try not to sleep on that side if you can help it. Putting a washcloth with really hot water on it onto that piercing over and over really helped me if it was indeed an infection. Is is also itchy? That's a good indication of infection if it's also red and puffy and oozing anything. Use NON antibacterial soap that is unscented like dove to clean it. Please do your piercing a favor and don't use anything like hydrogen peroxide or anything they give you to clean it at places like Claire's. Been there done that, have scarring. As for your hair, try to have someone else with squeaky clean hands try to get your hair untangled...I hate it when that happens >_< As to using sea salt, it does help SOME. For me, it just irritated my piercings and delayed healing time. If you are still worried about infection because of itching, puffiness, redness, swelling, and consistant pus, see your piercer. If you didn't get it done at a tattoo/piercing shop, I'd recommend going there and getting it checked out if you are concerned. PS THANK YOU for calling it a scaffold piercing! I know piercers who didn't even know it was called that! ^_^

Q: how do i clean my scaffold piercing?: Sea salt soaks 2-3 times a day, for 15 mins. (1/8-1/4 tsp non iodized sea salt dissolved in 8 oz distilled or bottled water) You can also buy H2Ocean which is the sea salt solution but in a spray can. It can be found at Hot Topic. Don't clean a piercing with anything like Peroxide, Rubbing Alcohol, Bactine, or Neosporin. Peroxide and Rubbing alcohol are harbors for bacteria and will dry out the piercing. Neosporin is for cuts and scrapes, not puncture wounds.

Q: I always liked those matches.It always but an element of danger into it.Also it was sometimes a relatively long match.the whole point of the match was to trey to knock the opponents of it and it was usually pretty long fall.It was usually made for tag teams matches.: If they did bring back the scaffold match, there would go the PEE-GEE rating, cause with matches like that, I dont see how they could keep it kid friendly!

Q: so i've got my earlobes double piercing in each ear, my cartilage piercing in my right ear and my belly button piercing. Does a scaffold piercing hurt? I don't really know about my pain tolerance, but my belly button piercing just felt like a tiny pinch. And I want the bar to go through where i have my cartilage already pierced, would i have to get it re-pierced in a different position than where it's already pierced?: I just got my scaffold done about 4 hrs ago. Im 14 have a really low tolerance for pain so I thought I was really in for it. However, the initial piercing didnt really hurt. It was just 4 quick pinches [2 for the needle 2 for the bar]. It felt really hot and hurt for about 1 hr after it was done. Now it doesnt hurt at all its just uncomfortable. Q: I have a converted attic bedroom and the part where the wall meets the ceiling over the stairs is unreachable without scaffolding. It's over stairs so you can't just put a ladder under it. I hired someone to paint it the current color, but I will probably need to re-paint it soon and I am hoping to be able to rent something that I can adjust the legs to put on stairs that I can paint it myself. Any advice would be helpful: If you don't already have one, you should go out and buy a Lttle giant type lader. Almost any home center has them at reasonable prices. They come in several sizes and are user friendly. I am pro painter and come across stairs frequently. I am able to accomplish most jobs with my adjustable ladder.Many times it loks a lot more involved than it actually is. These ladders are real easy to use once you've tried them.
