Q:Hi there,I got a scaffold piercing done on Sunday and it's become infected (according to my doctor). I've been cleaning it, etc but I caught rather a bad cold which affected it quite badly. It's amazingly sore, swollen and getting worse day by day. My doctor told me to take it out now but also gave me some antibiotics because I said I'd rather not remove it. She said something about the swelling affecting my circulation and that I could always have it done again when I was feeling better. What should I do? Please help me.: no keep it in you will get over it mine was infected too but that didnt stop me

Or make a fake one??: Nope you can't get fake jewellery because of the placement of the piercing. There is no way to fake it, sorry, you'll just have to wait until you're old enough to go and have it done without your parents consent and need for their approval.

Q:I'm thinking of getting an industrial/scaffold piercing soon, but I'm worried that I might sleep on it and mess it up. I'm a deep sleeper and move around a lot in my sleep without realising it myself, so I'm rather worried that I might irritate the piercing by accident. Would it be better if I request the piercer to put in like, 2 separate earrings for me instead of one barbell?Thanks in advance!: Try having the bar first so that your holes are lined up properly. If you do wind up irritating the piercing in your sleep, you can always switch it to two pieces of jewelry for the rest of healing. Most people tend to favor sleeping on one side of their head even if they are deep sleepers. If you know which side you favor, get pierced in the opposite ear to minimize the chances of bumping it.

Q:Ive had it for over a year now and everything was fine. Ive recently had trouble sleeping on it and its got a bit of puss / liquid coming out (not much) it hurts to touch at the moment but is not red or swollen. Ive changed it to 2 seperate labrets for now to see how that works.It doesnt look like its moved but I am still worries!Thanks all!: If its not moving its not rejecting, but puss coming out isnt a good sign. Are you sure its not infected? If the puss smells and its itchy you could be on your way to an infection, the redness and swelling could come soon. Start cleaning it daily again (assuming youve stopped) and hope for the best! Good luck:)

Q:I work for myself, and usually do remodels, but work is slowing, so I did a bid on demo-ing a 35 ft chimney stack. I am the home owner is renting the scafolding for us, my question is, I am assuming it has to be tied to the frame of the house or something, anyone have knowledge on this, I am assuming screwing to the roof is not the way, I would assume taking away part of the siding is the correct way, and attaching it to a stud. How far up and how many places?: Use lead anchors and drill holes in the mortar joints of the stone - then insert the lead anchors. Get correct size masonry drill bit for the lead anchors. Now while you are buying the lead anchors also buy some threaded eye bolts that match the threads inside the lead anchors. Also buy some #9 sticks or rolls of wire. As you set up your scaffolding tie it back to the chimney by cutting blocks of 2 x 4 with a notch in it to fit around scaffold legs (v notch). Now place the blocks between the scaffold legs and the chimney - then tie wire from the eye bolt to the scaffold leg and twist the wire tight so it pulls the scaffold tight to the chimney. Do this about every 10 feet in height. Remove these eyebolts/notched 2 x 4's as you come down from top removing the stone. Make sure you have full walkboards with slide stops screwed under the ends of the boards so they cannot slide off the scaffold frames.

Q:its come out with a whitey liquid only a little bit but not alot, how can i stop it?: Well I certainly wouldn't let people climb on the scaffolding if it has problems, they might fall off and injure themselves and sue you. And nobody wasnts to be sued.
