Q:righ so im wanting to get my scaffoldin done.....n iv seen lyk some ppl get lyk lumps where its been periced...does this usualy happen..or is it coz the bar is to small or somethingand alsooo.....would it be better to get the bar straight in there or put barbells in it till it healed?: Sometimes it happen when not fixed properly, and not cleaned well after making the hole. .

Q:How much does a tragus hurt in comparison to a scaffold? I got my scaffold in june/july and it hurt a lot, hurt even more in the healing process, now I'm pretty sure I have a keloid on it, but it doesn't really hurt anymore and is still healing. But I would like my tragus pierced on my other ear so just wondered how much it would hurt in comparison to a scaffold, piercing and healing process? Its thicker so I'm expecting it would hurt more...: I have my tragus done.. Personally it wasn't sore at all it did swell a bit but I just kept it clean and it was perfect I still have it and I love it I've had it about 2-3 years now

Q:I got a scaffolding piercing (also known as an industrial) well anyway i got it 5 months ago and the bottom hole, the bar has basically made its way out of my ear and then the skin has ripped and now i have had to take it out. does anyone know why? maybe it wasnt done right or something?: Sounds like it was either pierced at an improper angle and/or the anatomy of your ear isn't made for the piercing but an idiot piercer did it anyways. Without seeing it there's no telling. Go have a better piercer look at it.

Q:i recently got a scaffolding piercing, and i got all of the blood of but i just want to know how i keep it clean :): just answered this 5 minutes ago xD i have an orbital in one ear which is basically the same as an industrial except it's a ring rather than a barbell. i fill up a bowl with hot water, add sea salt, let the salt dissolve, and then basically dip that side of my head into the bowl so my whole ear is covered. let it soak for 5-10 minutes and then you're done! ONLY use sea salt though. sea salt is a natural astringent and draws out infection and pus. it's the only thing i use to clean my piercings, including my nose and even my stretched ears. just soak your ear with hot sea salt water once a day.

Q:just had my scaffold piercing done..its pretty sore nowquot;is the healing process quite long/painful?and whats best to clean it with - salt and water solution or antibacterial swabs?!: It okorder , it is soothing, and it is a natural sea salt formula with distilled water. You just spray 3-5 times daily, avoid touching it, and it will heal beautifully. I have this piercing, and I love it. I have had it for 4 months, and it is healing great. Make sure if you have questions you call your piercer too!

Q:i have the materials i need but i don't know how to put them together.: what kind do you have? Most I've dealt with have two end frames, two cross braces and the scaffold planks. Hold one end frame up and put the cross bracing on the top and bottom pins on each side of the scaffold end. Then hold up the other scaffold end frame and put the cross braces on the upper and lower pins on each side of the end . (its easier to do with two people). After the two frame ends are up with the cross bracing attached, place the planks on the top rail. If your going up with another section, put the connector pins in the end frames and build it just like the first one.

Q:Right, today i got a scaffolding piercing, but because my ear was a funny shape they had to bend it so it was an awkward angle in my ear. My main question is is there anywhere where i can buy pre-bent bars or will I have to bend the bars my self when I buy them? Thanks.: Since everyone's anatomy is different, you'll have to get your barbells custom-bent. I don't advise doing this yourself; You should take your barbells to your piercer and have them do it.

We'll designate the tension in the left hand wire with T. So after making our free-body diagram we find the sum of the moments around the right end of the scaffold (where each moment = force x distance from point we are taking it about), setting it to zero because the system experiences no angular motion 0 = 7m * -T + 600kg * 9.8m/s^2*(7m - 1.8m) + 100kg * 9.8m/s^2 * 3.5m (Notice that T is negative because it would produce a clockwise rotation about the right end of the scaffold, and the weights are positive because their rotation would be counter-clockwise) Now we just solve for T, which comes out to be T = 4858N
