Front facia board needs a light scrape and seal and paint but there are 2 areas that peak at 18 ft high. laying on the roof and looking over is not an option as the roof is concrete tile and unable to find any matching tiles if they break. Need to be 13 - 14 ft in the up for a length of 16 ft or approx 4 hours total. any ideas to avoid rental costs, deposits etc...?
2 sixteen foot ladders with a 2x12 placed where you need it,if safety is not an issue
i know it varies building to building, but general what is a builder going to pay for any high rise over 30 stories. also, how do scaffolding companies typically charge for their scaffolding and services?
What part of the world, what time of year, what footprint of building, what time period of working on building? Many Asian countries erect exterior scaffolds of bamboo. European and western hemisphere countries do it with pipe and board.
155 lb and is 3.00 ft from one end. The other washer is 4.00 ft from the other end. If the force supported by the end near the first washer is 200 {line above last zero}, how much does the second washer weigh?
Let the two upward forces be F1 and F2. F1 + F2 = 155 + 75 + X. Taking moment about the end near the washer of X lb 4X + 6*75 + 12* 155 = 12.*200 X = 22.5 lb ==================================
They Want me to take it Out.ive had it done like Last Wednesday.With Today Being TuesdayHow Long Until i can take it out?and How long For?
Bad news, my friend. Ear cages and Industrial piercings can take between 6-12 months to fully heal. It's only been a couple of days! If you take it out, chances are, it's going to close up. My advice would be to get some plastic retainers to put in the individual piercings until you can wear the scaffold all the time. Talk with your piercer if you have questions! Good luck and I hope that helps!
Explain what Vygotsky meant by “zone of proximal development” and “scaffolding.”
maintained the child follows the adult's example and gradually develops the ability to do certain tasks without help or assistance. He called the difference between what a child can do with help and what he or she can do without guidance the zone of proximal development (ZPD).
I've had it for 3 months, and a keloid has just formed. I was told to put hydrogen peroxide on it with the regular 2x salt and hot water a day... but the piercing keeps healing and scabbing over the bar (inside), and i need to twist it so it doesn't get stuck.it is SO painful and happens after like 5 minutes of twisting the bar.I can't stand the pain anymore, is there any way to prevent this?
go buy a new bar, or go to where you got it pierced to get exact details on what you should be doing. If nothing else, take it out
how much ?
It depends where you go... But if you go to a decent body piercer, I'd say no less than ?20 and no more than ?40.
A 100 kg scaffold is 7 m long. It is hanging with two wires, one from each end. A 600 kg box sits 1.8 m from the left end. What is the tension in the left hand side wire?(g = 9.8 m/s2)answer in newtons
This question can be solved by first drawing a free-body diagram and then summing the moments (torques) around the right end of the scaffold. We'll designate the tension in the left hand wire with T. So after making our free-body diagram we find the sum of the moments around the right end of the scaffold (where each moment = force x distance from point we are taking it about), setting it to zero because the system experiences no angular motion 0 = 7m * -T + 600kg * 9.8m/s^2*(7m - 1.8m) + 100kg * 9.8m/s^2 * 3.5m (Notice that T is negative because it would produce a clockwise rotation about the right end of the scaffold, and the weights are positive because their rotation would be counter-clockwise) Now we just solve for T, which comes out to be T = 4858N
