- I clean houses for a living, and personally I like a Rainbow vacuum cleaner. They are very expensive but does the job! You have an attachment that does the carpet, then another one that does the hardwood floors, plus lots of attachments to do your ceilings and walls. The Oreck vacuum is good also. It's real lightweight and does a good job also.

- Yes, any one selling vacuum cleaners door to door will take any old vacuum in trade. Remember though that these people work on high mark up and in turn high commission. Hold out on making a quick sale to get your best deal. Many people are ripped off by door to door sales people who are desperate to make a sale. A fair commission is ok, as every one is entitled to make a living.
- Q:I was wondering why my vacuum cleaner was leaving trails of crap all over the place... so I flipped it upside down when it was on, and it turns out it does vacuum (quite powerfully, at that) but all the crap gets shot out of another part of the bottom! - Hmm odds are you may have a dirty filter or bag perhaps even a clog while it's normal for things to occasionally be left behind if it's leaving a lot you typically have obstructed airflow, i'm also curious are you using this on a hard floor? i know most uprights are not really made for hard floors as the brushroll will fling things back at ya if this is the case i would suggest getting a bare floor tool

- Well, I've had a Kirby since 1979 and it's still going strong. I've always had cats and dogs and whatever other critters in the house. They're expensive - I think I paid close to $500 when I bought it with all the attachments - rug shampooer, carpet cleaner, etc - but considering I've had it over 30 years, I've gotten my money's worth. I've only had to replace the belt twice. I think they cost about $6 last time I bought one.

- ok so this may sound crazy but do it while shes sleeping. This way she will get use to noises when shes sleeping. I didn't with my first and my sister suggested it with my 2nd so wouldn't have the same problem of waking the baby with every little sound u make. Also the noise shouldn't bother her. Babies like white noise
