Q:I am looking into buying a good carpet cleaning machine. I have looked at some brands like Bissel (spelling?)... and Hoover. Anyone know anything about them or own one? Are the supplies for them expensive? I also want something that wont leave a residue. Thanks for any help!
cleaning is my business, I've used all type of carpet machines and the best that I've found is the rug doctor. you can rent them or you can purchase one of them. i don't recommend you buying one unless you have a lot of carpet to clean all the time. its always best to spot clean your carpets before using a machine on them. resolve carpet cleaner is good and if you have blood stains or ink or grease try using lighter fluid that you use in lighters. be sure to blot any stain that might spread such as ink.
Q:im a new rider, and next week i will got my first pony. i wanna buy some rugs for him. Couly you introduce different rugs and good brands.im in UK.xx
Is he coming with any rugs? See what he has before making any purchases. In terms of types, it depends on whether he is going to be field kept, stable kept, on a combined system and if he will be clipped in the winter. It also depends on the individual - some horses feel the cold more than others. It also depends on the storage space you have at the yard. My Connemara is on a combined system (in at night, out during the day) and has a hunter clip in the winter. These are the types of rugs he has: -Lightweight turnout -Middleweight turnout -Heavyweight turnout -Detachable neck cover for turnout rugs -Fly rug -Fleece coolers (we have a few of these as we like to keep one worn and the others clean for after bathing him when we are going competing) -Lightweight stable rug -Middleweight stable rug -Heavyweight stable rug -Duvet-type under rug -Summer sheet In the winter we layer rugs depending on the weather and the clip he has - he often starts with a blanket clip and once that starts to grow out, he has a hunter clip and requires more or different rugs. Rugs that are clean and not currently in use are left in the bags the cleaning lady put them in (we send rugs off to be cleaned a couple of times a year) and are stored in a wardrobe in a container provided by the yard we're on so they stay clean and dry. The rugs we currently use (fly rug, summer sheet, fleece, LW T/O) are hanging on racks in his stable - it may be summer, but the weather has no idea what to do so he is occasionally wearing a summer sheet or fleece at night. As for brands, it's trial and error. Our turnout rugs are Amigo and are about 12 years old and in excellent condition; our fly rug, under rug, summer sheet and one of the fleeces are Masta (again quite old - fly rug on its last legs though!); and his stable rugs all came with him. He did have two turnouts that came with him, but they got torn in the field - we tried patching them up, but they eventually died on us.
Q:Does it need to uncover the carpet of car room and dry and coat oil for components after the car submerged
About humidity, then I suggest you lift a piece to wipe around the water leakage places, or your air conditioning pipes have water leakage for a long time, if the seal equipment is good, then there is nothing. If there is paint, it's ok
Q:I have purchased wool rugs which I really like but they have an odour and we have stepped on prickly objects that, when searched for, turn out to be similar to twigs (approx. an inch or more in length) or seeds woven into the wool. The rugs come from a very reputable rug importer that operates in the United States as well as Canada so I'm somewhat surprised at what appears to be poor quality and am considering returning them. Will I find this with all 100% wool handmade rugs? Does cleaning them make any difference?
these have been made by a craft work shop where the wool has been spun by hand and probably in a workshop in a rural work shop where as it was woven twigs etc have been picked up from the floor it was crafted on the best bet is to wash the rugs if possible if not then contact the rug importer and complain
Q:(Or perhaps any rugs?)
I think mexico do lots of wall rugs
Q:I'll need to get about 1200 sq. ft. of carpet. I'm not planning on getting the cheapest, but close to it. How much will the carpet cost? installation?
Carpet, pad ( to cover warranties) and labor for a low, mid range priced carpet will go fo 3$ a s/f ( + - depending on quality) So your looking at 3600$ at least. Usually won t include furniture moving and rip out and disposal of the old, but this is always a negotiable thing. Any questions you can e mail me through my avatar . GL
Q:How do I turn my finished latch hook project into a rug?
Latch Hook Rug Backing
Q:I have a leopard gecko enclosure and i am wondering if it is better to have rug in the tank or calcium sand ... please no immature answers
A Rug because i use to use sand but it gave him an infection i had to take him to the vet. and the sand was very hard to clean!!
Q:My carpet is only 4 1/2 years old and in good shape with no big stains. My only complaint is that it's too light. Someone suggested having my carpet dyed a darker color, but I've never heard of anyone doing that before. Has anyone had this done before or know anyone who has? If so, what are the pro's and con's? Thanks :)
Nylon okorder .
Q:We have a fantastic purple sheepskin rug that is in need of a really good clean, (4 year old and kitten have seen to that) is it safe to machine wash it or do i have to get it dry cleaned?
Because it is dyed purple dry-cleaning is the best cleaning technique to preserve the colour long term. You could wash the sheepskin with the correct sheepskin woolskin wash but some of the dye colour will run out in the rinse water. Salt is a natural dye fixative so I use salt in the final rinse water to reduce dye run. Don't use a normal woolwash, this is not suitable for the leather. A sheepskin carding brush is great to brush out knots before and after you wash a sheepskin rug to prevent matting.
