- find the output positive and negative on the usb cable attach these to a solenoid or a relay. then attach the source that will power the pump to the pump, using the solenoid/relays contact pins as you would a switch. done. now just write a program on your CPU to control the usb output. for a diagram, email me at Ben@ Comcast

- Q: We have a 92 cadillac deville, my husband can replace the water pump he justs need to know if you have to jack the motor a little. Please help before our car blows up!!
- I have done them on the 4.9's. I dont remember having to jack up the motor for any reason. I do remember there are like 20 bolts that hold it on and there is not a heck of a lot of room to get at them. I think the reason someone mentioned jacking up the motor is some of the GM engines like the 3.1 or 3.3? to change the belt you need to take apart one of the motor mounts. Since the mounts hold the engine in you need to support the engine when you remove them. I remember the 4.9 being more like the 3800 in that its mounts go to the front by the radiator so they wont be in the way of the belt.
- Q: The pump works and water goes to the house from the reserve tanks but there can be long delays before it cuts in after mains pressure is lost. After it stops the pressure gauge falls back slowly to zero. Pressure vessel is a sphere has a valve on top. Any suggestions ?

- Q: 99 Cherokee I6. There is low pitched noise coming from the area of the water pump and alternator. Like a grinding grumbling. The water pump pulley is not loose and will not rock back and forth. Nothing is leaking. Tomorrow is forecast as icey and I have a choice of sending my wife 30 miles each way to work in the Cherokee or a 2005 Mustang, which is absolutely terrible in the snow or ice. I can get the car into the shop on Thursday for diagnosis and repair. Since the pulley is not loose I am thinking it will be OK for another day even if it is the water pump bearings. Thoughts?
- could be water pump bearing going sure couldbe one of the pulleys bad as well and id sure chance the trip and keep the mustang off the road if you dont have to really if it locks up should nt be hard to replace anywhere really not that hard of job and doesnt cost much at autozone
