Drawn Cup Needle Roller Bearing :

The outer ring of drawn cup needle roller bearing is punched with the high-quality steel sheet. The outer ring has thin wall.The drawn cup needle roller bearing has the characterstics of small radial section area, large load carring capacity ,less inertia and economic manufacture. It is suitable for small section heght, or when the housing bore isnot used for raceway , this type is recommended to use .The bearing is assembled into the housing bore under a certain pressure without fu rther axial location.

The draw up needle roller bearing generally takes its shaft diameter as the internal raceway .However , the proper LR type inner ring can be  used in accordance with application condition.

Q:im thinking about buying bearings for my longboard. but idk there are open on one side are thay good .can some one help
That will bring dirt in and it will ruin the bearings quicker. The plus side is you can clean and oil them easier.
Q:I have a 2001 BMW 325i. I believe that we need to change the wheel bearing (passenger rear). You can check my other questions in case the diagnosis is incorrect...(help??)Does anyone have any diagrams, instructions on how to change them? Is it necessary to have them pressed on/off? (that would determine if I could do this at home or not. Please help, this is my sons car and he is in the military and doesn't have time or cash to spend on it. So mom dad are trying to help them out. Any advice or websites will be appreciated. Thanks, stormphyre
You described the sound as something dropped and dragged? . A wheel bearing would usually make a growling sound, gradually get worse, and have to be really bad to lock up the wheel- unusual. Many BMWs with disc brakes in the rear had a separate parking brake which was a drum brake inside the brake disc. If it's rear discs, look for the parking brake cable. If the cable is attached to the brake caliper, never mind (I assume you've tried removing the caliper) If the cable goes inside the backing plate behind the wheel, you might try removing the brake disc and look at the small drum brake behind it. Replacing rear wheel bearings requires too many special tools and experience. I believe it'd be Independent rear suspension? You may be able to remove the swing arm and take it to the shop (save towing). Call ahead first - they may prefer to do it on the car. Cars with solid axles, the rear axle and backing plate usually is held on by four bolts on end of axle. It varies- repair manual helpful for that kind of thing.
Q:2004 Ford Taurus DISC BRAKES has anyone replaced the REAR bearings?
You should be able to tap the bearings out with a hammer and drift. If you use a brass drift it will be less likely to scratch the housings. You use a large socket to install the new bearings. Grease the bearing liberally first. The socket should bear only on the outer race and you carefully tap it into place. The new bearing may have a relieved edge to facilitate entry and the usual rule is that the writing on the bearing is the edge that faces you. If they are taper bearings you tighten them to hand tight then back off a quarter turn to obtain working clearance. This clearance disappears when the bearing gets hot in use. It would be advisable to buy the Haynes manual for the car as this will guide you through the whole procedure step by step.
Q:on a 1993 dodge dakota how hard is it to change the front end wheel bearings? how long does it take? i am not mechanically inclined. just tryin to save some money by doing it myself.
Very simple...On 4x4 models this is not just bearings...It is sold as a hub and bearing assembly, just get the correct torque specs from the dealer, when putting on the new nut...The new nut is sold only at the dealership, they are $14 each,DO NOT REUSE THE OLD ONES---VERY DANGEROUS. Remove tire and brake caliper hold down bracket. Remove old nut from hub. pull off old hub replaced hub with new replace old nut with new torque to dealer secs. replace caliper hold down bracket replace rim DONE!! 4x2 models are easier then this, they are just a inner and outer bearing...Make sure to replaced the bearing race also. Same steeps as above accept with a inner and outer bearing.
Q:I have a 38 sector nine bambo fiji longboard. I was thinking about getting bones reds, or bones super reds. What bearing should i get? An answer is greatly appreciated!
Depends on what you are doing? If it is just pushing, cruising, freeriding, the bones reds should be fine. If you are thinking more downhill or anything with more speed, which probably isn't the best on that board, you might want to invest in something like the bones swiss.
Q:I have a 2004 VUE, and the last couple weeks I've been hearing a roaring noise coming from the rear right wheel. It has gotten louder the last day or so. One person told me it might be the bearings, and that it's a easy thing to have fixed. I'm taking it to the mechanic on Friday. Anyone have an idea how much this might cost?
Now here is what you do if you get a shop to do it. Get estimates from everyone. Then go by brake check and get an estimate. Now the trick is is to get on the computer for the brake check in your city, if you have one. They have a calendar there where you can schedule your vehicle for putting in new bearings. If you will notice, on certain days, they have up to 30% on some locations at different times and days. You might call and ask what the percent off covers. Is it parts or labor or both. But seems a good deal. Otherwise, buy a hayes repair manual for about $20 or so. Bearings are one of the few things that are EASY to put in. Now you can go to one of those back yard mechanics who can do it real cheap.
Q:this: http://www.narzedzia.pl/photoShopVariant/large/804_Szlifierka_k%C4%85towa_HSW_3125CE.jpgmodel hsw3125CE
if this is a family heirloom take it to a tool repair shop and get a bid, or take the bearing out and take it to a bearing shop for a price check.
Q:what is the advantage and disadvantage of water-lubricated bearings?
The main advantage of a water cooled bearing is you can use the a portion of the water from the pump discharge to lube the bearings. That way you can always be assured of the lubricating fluid supply and do not have to relay on another pump. Some pumps do use another source, especially if the water being pumped is dirty, but it is still cheap and non-contaminating if some leaks into the pumped fluid. However, water is not always a good lube especially on pumps with high speeds and/or mechanical loads. Water is not very viscous and becomes less so with increased temperature. Even small 3600 rpm pumps will use oil for lubrication. Some large, high pressure pumps will have their own oil pumping and cooling system for the bearings.
Q:is the lucky or red bone bearings the best for making your skateboard go faster
Reds are your best bet. Although i would recomend getting bones swiss bearing. They may be more expensive, but they are well worth it. With bones, abec doesn't matter. Abec was designed for bearings for the industrial use. Although abec 7s arw good, bones dont have abec because they dont need it. They are further designed to resist the hazards that skateboarding may have rather than most bearings.
Q:i have the bearings already, i just severely lack the necessary skills to do it myself, so im trying to figure out the usually price that a mechanic would charge
totally depends on the vehicle. What make, model, and engine is it?
