Q: So I need to tap a few wires, and cut 1 wire and join it with another wire..What would be the best way to approach this? Here are the full instructions so you guys have an idea on what I'm trying to do.quot; On the TAN plug there is 1 ALL PINK(E7) wire you need attach the WHITE wire from your relay to that but don't cut the PINK wire just tap the WHITE into it.Next go the the GREY BCM plug there are 3 WHITE wires.
The instructions seem pretty straight-forward. T-Taps and squeeze-connectors are basically the same thing; achieving the same results, which is to add a connection to an existing wire without interrupting the line. Just make sure you use the right size and type, meaning; don't use a low-voltage connector for a high-voltage application... You'd just fry it up. For the cut wires, I'd use crimp-connectors and some shrink-wrap. Again, using the correct connector. You can use wire-nuts, but the crimp-connectors are a more permanent fix. Good luck to ya.
Q: The power supply is at the fixture in this case. I have 2 black wires (1 is the hot, I connected the hot to the other black to continue to the switch. The other wires are 2 white wires, 1 red wire and 2 grounds. At the switch there are multiple wires, including 3 black wires, 1 red, 3 white and 3 ground. One of the black wires I know goes on to other fixtures in another room. My issue now is I cannot get my main fixture I was trying to change the switch on to work and don't know which wire to connect to the switch. Right now I have removed the switch completely so the other rooms lights will work. Here is how I have it set up now. At the fixture black to black, white to white, red capped 2 grounds capped together. At the switch area: Black (hot from the fixture) to 2 blacks, all 3 whites connected, red is capped, and grounds are together. Which wires do I connect to the switch to control the fixture and still allow the other rooms lights to work. HELP!
The key is the red wire. At the switch junction, attach the red wire to one terminal of the switch. Combine all the black wires into one bundle and pigtail off a length of wire to attach to the other terminal on the switch. The black wires are now all constant hot, and the red wire is the switch leg going up to the fixture. The white wires should remain bundled by themselves. The bundle of ground wires can also be attached to the green ground terminal on the switch if one is present. At the fixture junction, bundle all white wires together and do the same with the ground wires. Attach the red switch leg to the black fixture wire. The remaining black wires in the junction should be bundled together to remain isolated from the fixture.
Q: I have a buffalo tools 2000 watt generator i have been rebuilding. I have searched for a wiring diagram to help but no luck at all my question is about the wires that come out of the section that generates electricity. Outside of all the resets and switches coming right out of the back of the section that creates electricity has 6 wires coming out. Four are hooked to two different plugs two in each plug one set is red the other blue and the last two wires are separate black wires i would think are negative/ground wires i am looking to know what the red wires and blue wires actually are dc/ac volt i imagine just would like to know for sure don't want to blow anything up and help even guesses will be greatly appreciated.

Q: have black (hot) and 2 whites from the house. Got Black,green.blue.and white from the fan. Any clues on how to wire this? There is a light switch involved. I know to match the colors but what do with the blue (light) wire is beyond me.
Mark is Correct except for one thing that caught my attention: you said you have 2 White Wires and 1 Black Wire coming from the house.....WHY 2 White Wires and only 1 Black, Doesn't add up Correctly, unless one of those White Wires was marked with a piece of Black Tape to identify it as a second Hot Wire which would then be used to separate the Fan Motor from the Fan Light by each having its own separate power source.......Be Careful!!
Q: Or speaker wire that has an RCA plug on one end?If you know of something that is inexpensive without me having to get another preamp, please help.(this is for a turntable preamp by the way, my preamp only has RCA output.)
do not use speaker wire for the turntable preamp!! use RCA cables. speaker wire is balanced wire, both conductors are identical. RCA connectorized wire is coaxial, shielded and unbalanced. You need the shielded coaxial unbalanced wire.
Q: Im Very Curious As To How Did The Designer Orese Make Her, African Continent Shape Wire Earrings? I Have The Supplies To Make Wire Earrings. I Would Love To Do A Personal DIY! :~)
as well as on the first page link above, under the category Wire-Framing (P.S. Why did you use initial caps on all words in your question?...kinda hard to read.) .
Q: I am hooking up a subwoofer in my 01' civic and i cant figure out where the remote wire from the amp connects to in the back of my new headunit. Do i need a wiring harness? any help would be appreciated thanks
The remote wire is almost always the blue one. If it is an aftermarket deck that has never had a amp installed, the remote wire shouldn't be connected to anything and should always be blue. If your using a stock headunit it may not even have one, the best thing u can do is connect the remote from your amp to something that will only work after the ignition is turned on, if your not sure wat wire is doing what, to test them simply join both power wires from your deck together (the red and yellow wires), and connect the ground wire (black) to any metal earthed to ur cars body, just touch the joined power wires from your deck to any wires close by with ur ignition turned on until you get power to your headunit, then turn the ignition off if ya lose power to the deck then u can just connect the remote from your amp to that. While checking the wires the worst that can happen is a blown fuse, so just have a spare 10amp fuse or two just in case. I hope that helped ya out. gl.
Q: I have this sony x plod headunit that i want to install.unfortunetely i do not know the wiring on it. i could find out as i go along which wires go to which speakers... but which two wires are the POWER wires?so i attached pictures but the basic layout is on the left side there are 4 sets of two wires (im assuming they pair up vertically)on the right side there is a long black wire with a metal hook on the end.
Please do not waste your time on that stereo. It has ridiculously poor sound reproduction. Sony makes some of THE WORST stereos on the market.
Q: A vertical straight wire carrying an upward 14.2 A current exerts an attractive force per unit length of 7.80E-4 N/m on a second parallel wire 7.60 cm away. What is the magnitude of the current that flows in the second wire?
For a current I1 = 14.2 Amperes and radial separation between wires r =0.076 m, the magnetic field at wire 2 is B =0.000037368 Tesla If current I2 = 21 Amperes then the force per meter is F/ΔL =0.000784 Newtons/m hyperphysics.phy-astr.gsu.edu/hba... Goodbye
Q: i've got a GOTOH humbucker pick up and its only got a white and a bare wire. can someone tell me how to wire it or how it works. i'm making my own guitar and i need help with the wiring.
The bare wire is usually ground. Solder that to the ground wire that you should have wired to the bridge, and also to the sleeve connection on the output jack. The insulated wire carries the signal. Depending on the configuration you are running, whether it be a single pickup, two pickups, and global controls or dedicated controls, this can go in different places. Let's say, hypothetically, that you are using a single pickup. Then, the signal wire would go straight to the Volume pot. The tone pot would be an offshoot of the volume, which tapers the high end. There are multiple ways to wire a tone pot, should you install one, and the wiper of the volume pot goes to the tip connection of the output jack. For more information, look at some pickup wiring guides. Seymour Duncan has a lot of good ones, if you go on their site and search.
