Q:My car is Fiat Sienye lights may be a long time to fire a layer of leather is relatively old! How can we fix it?
You should change a headlamp.
Q:At the suggestion of an Advanced Auto worked, I connected an orange wire (illumination wire) to an orange with white stripe wire. Now, every time I turn on my headlights the instrument panel doesn't light, my console lights do not dim as they usually do, and my backlights do not turn on. Basically, my headlights turn on, but everything else seem to be no different than when my headlights are turned off.The instrument panel and back lights are on the same fuse, but the fuse does not look blown. If it helps, my car is a 2001 Honda Accord LX. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Dash and tail use different fuses!!! You may have blown the resister in the dimmer for the dash lights in the headlamp switch if so connected!
Q:Ok so today i go to work. Clock in, work, clock out. Sure enough when i walk out, what do i see. I see my lights are on and very dim. I know immediately what happened. So just to try. I try to start it. It doesnt make a noise. So i go inside and find my friend who just got off work as well. We try and jump it. It turns over as usual but it wont fire. Then my dad gets there and we get it to fire. Turns out i had to give the gas pedal a little pump. So it runs, but the engine light stays on. I figure its because my battery is super close to dead, completely dead. However, my jeep wont idle. If i let off the gas completely the rpms just go down until it dies. So that makes me think, maybe the engine light is on for something other than the battery. Before work it was fine, absolutely nothing wrong. I got it home, after it dying once on the way home. So whats wrong. Is it the battery. Or is it something thats gonna cost me an arm and leg to fix? I certainly hope not. Thanks.
Start off with the simplest thing, charge the battery and see what happens. If the battery won't take a charge then you know the problem. If a battery is on the old side leaving the lights on could deep discharge it enough to kill a cell or two. If it won't take a charge then you need a new battery. If it does take a charge put it back in the Jeep and after you start it check the voltage of the charging system with a voltmeter. If you don't have access to a voltmeter go to an Advance Auto Parts or CarQuest and see if they can check your charging system. Some parts places will do it for free. If you don't have a battery charger try to borrow a battery from another vehicle (one you know that is charged) and see what happens when you run the Jeep with the other battery.
Q:I have a 250 Rebel, and there was no ignition when we got it, so we put a car ignition on it. The key turns off the electrical system, but it won‘t kill the engine. That‘s not the problem, though. Ever since this ignition was put on, the battery drains while it‘s running. Dad seems to think it‘s a short. What‘s wrong with it?
You put a car ignition on it. Whatever that consists of? It's wired incorrectly and like your installation you don't give enough information to trouble shoot it. Start looking for a wiring diagram. If you can read one it will help guide you.
Q:what does ecu light mean in a 08 dodge magnum?
Im assuming you mean when you turn the key. Normally it means there is no power going to th ecu. I have the same problem but most of my electrics dont work and the car wont start even though the engine turns and tried jump starting it. Check the wires
Q:When the car headlamp is on, the window glass will automatically come down
Hello, line failure, and to repair the factory inspection line,
Q:FAW-Volkswagen Bora car bulbs can use the maximum number of watts
FAW-Volkswagen Bora car light bulb is generally the original 60/55 watt bulb, the largest can use 140-watt bulb.
Q:I own a Springfield 1911 A-1 and I would like to get a rail system to attach a flashlight. Are there rail systems available which require little or no machining? If so what are the best rail systems available?
Thats a tough question. Both are excellent guns Springfield Armory's Mil-Spec 1911A1 semiautos are, just as the name implies, made to emulate the original military 1911 .45 ACPs that have been part of the fighting handgun scene for 90 years. These are not accurized pistols with adjustable sights or any other bells and whistles. Springfield Armory says of their military style 1911s: Springfield's Mil-Spec pistol is a faithful recreation of John Browning's classic 1911-A1. If you're looking for traditional features and quality in a no-nonsense package, the Parkerized Mil-Spec is for you. I just purchased my first RIA 45. Paid 340.00 out the door, and I've got to say this was a great deal. I have 7 1911 style 45's, Kimbers, Colts, And SW's. I was very surprised at the quality and and how well this thing shoots. 250 rounds not a single problem. its an awesome gun!
Q:Waste car headlights where the goods and more
Waste car headlamps where the more waste car headlamps generally some of the local large car repair shop, the local scrap vehicle dismantling plant and the local auto parts and scrap collection stations should be more supply.
Q:said I need to replace the coolant system for $3000 . Also, my windshield wiper fluid will not come out and somehow this is related? The engine has never overheated and we just got a new emission control sticker last week. Any suggestions or can anyone validate this assesmment. I live in GeorgiaThank you
Service Engine Soon and Check Engine Soon in a 1996 newer car are the same (the Actual name for them is the Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL)). Service Vehicle (body brakes etc) or Maintenance Required (Milaged triggered usualy) are different. Your Check Engine Soon light is on. That means (by law) that the the cars computer has sensed a problem that COULD be causing the Emissions to exceed the federal maximum. Now what is the problem? Drives fine. Take the car to an Autozone or OReilies or Advanced Auto. Have them READ the OBDll code (for free). This will give you an IDEA on where to start looking for a problem. Do NOT purchase parts (or have work done) based soley upon having the codes read. The part could be OK, it could just be reporting its sensing a problem. Repost your problem after you have gotten the code(s) read and see what some of the fine experienced mechanics that watch this site can offer you (They tend to watch after work) As for the $85.00 fee to look at it That sounds about normal if what they are telling you they are going to do is DIAGNOSE the problem. Reading the codes is not a Diagnosisits just reading the codes. Diagnosing can take 15 minutes or 2 hours (or more) just to make sure they found the problem and are not replacing parts to make the symptom go away. And yes a GOOD mechanic allways wants to make sure his customers cars are kept in Tip Top condition (sign of a good mechanic) and as an owner of two BMW's I can tell you they are NOT cheep to repair/maintain. Easy to tell how much your 530 will cost to repair 530 divide by 2265 Multiply by 10 and you get $2,650.00 for any significant repair (I told this to my BMW (Bring More Wampum) mechanic and he laughed at/with me)
