FAQ

I need to be familiar with the type and quotation of the car tires due to the working relationship, but it is not complete to understand the relevant symbols, such as being new. MAX's factory-produced radial tires. Oblique tires. Different details of steel tires. Especially LT. PR V. MA. The code symbol before and after the distinction will be mixed around the place.
Tire common classification is divided according to the structure for the bias line tires, radial tires. The fundamental difference between a radial tire and an oblique line tire is the carcass. The carcass of the oblique line tires is a sloping ply; and the carcass of the radial tire is a polymer multilayer crossover material with a top layer of steel striped cloth made of steel wire to reduce the tires The odds.
How does the idle car tire be placed and maintained?
Tires should be stored in a dry warehouse, to avoid sun and rain, not too much ventilation. Large-scale tire warehouse should be equipped with a thermometer and hygrometer, the temperature should be controlled at -10 ~ +30 ℃, relative humidity of 50% to 80% is appropriate. Tires should be placed away from heat sources, power generation equipment and where ozone can be generated to prevent tires from accelerating. Tires can not be with flammable materials and oil, acid, alkali and other chemicals together. Avoid sunshine, moisture, high temperatures and chemicals.
truck tires
For truck use the Michelin tires have consistently outperformed all other tires.
I want to buy tires but don't know what all those numbers mean. This is what my tire says 205/55R16 91H What does this mean?
Drop the 91H from your reading. You have RADIAL tires (R) whose size is 205mm at the widest point, and whose heiight (measured from the ground to the rim) is 55% of the wiidth (called the aspect ratio) and the rim size is 16"
I‘m tired of stupidity.
besides all the things you mentioned, I'm tired of people coming up to me and asking me for money, with their story about how their car ran out of gas. it happened this morning, guy didn't even have a car! and it was the third man this year aaaarrrrrggghhhh!!!
What would be the best tire for a scooter that has 12‘ wheels?
Go and ask at your local bike / scooter shop they should put you right.
What are the figures above the car tires?
Example; 190 / 60R18 90T indicates the specifications of the tire. 190: cross-sectional width (mm) 60: aspect ratio of 65% R: R = radial tire structure 18: rim diameter 18 inches 90: indicates the load index (this index corresponds to the load capacity of 600kg) T: that the highest The speed of not more than 190KM / H Tire specifications: car tire specifications commonly used a set of numbers that the previous number that tire cross-section width, the latter said the rim diameter in inches. For example, 210 / 50R18 represents a tire width of 210 mm, a flattening ratio of 50, and a rim diameter of 18 inches. The middle of the letter or symbol has a special meaning: "X" that high-pressure tire; "R", "Z" said radial tire; "a" that low-pressure tire.
I am upto another sprint event in a few weeks.Proper race tyres cost an arm and a leg. But for the entry level races I do people use good street tyres. However one of the biggest differences I have found out about race tyres and regular street tyres are the softness of the material.Race tyres are simply a lot softer and wears out a lot quicker. Can anyone think of a chemical or even an acid that I could spray on the tyre surface to soften(melt) them a bit?
Tyres only MELT with heat not with chemicals. I'm sure you are aware that warmed up tyres in racing have different characteristics than cold tyres. Chemical treatment is liable to be downright dangerous as any such treatment may result in the tyre losing other characteristics such as road grip and even completely distintegrating away from the steel structure [called the belt] that is an integral part of a tyre. S So although proper racing tyres cost an arm and a leg, that is much better than losing arms and legs in the accident you may cause [and become legally liable if anyone else is hurt] What you are propsing is dangerous to the extreme and probably completely illegal even in entry level races!
