Q:so when i turn the water on this horrible smell comes from the bathroom sink. what can i use to get rid of it?: You can unscrew the U-section of your trap off and clean it out pretty easily. With years of toothpaste, shaving cream, and spit in there, it's no wonder it smells. Take the trap out, use an old toothbrush to scrub it out once you pull out the hair and gunk, and it will be like new. Use baking soda on the toothbrush.

Q:Very weird question here. I am petsitting for a family with several cats and dogs. The youngest kitten is living in a bathroom, currently (it is the only small, enclosed, safe place for him to stay until the family returns). Q:Help! The cleaning lady somehow disconnected the stopper in my bathroom sink from the lever that moves the stopper up and down. Now its in the down position, a sink full of water and I cant get the stopper out!!: Use a knife tip in the small ring around the stopper, to lift the stopper drain out the water without flooding your cabinet. Then you can crawl underneath the sink. Loosen the big nut at the back of the drain on the vertical pipe and re set the stopper inside the pipe as the other person has already mentioned. Or you can leave the stopper out until a plumber can help you.
