Q: I really would like an electronic keyboard for Christmas, but my parents aren't willing to spend a lot. Anyone know a price range of around $100 for an electronic keyboard that would be in good condition? Or is $100 too low to afford a good keyboard? Be honest, please.

Q: I got windows vista installed, I want to use my USB keyboard on the boot, but it is not working for some reason, it used to work, but it doesn't anymore, how can I activate my keyboard on boot?thanks in advance for any answer.
USB keyboard is usually not enabled as default in BIOS. When Vista was installed, BIOS may have been reset to default, thus using P/S2 keyboard. You may have to temporarily use a P/S2 keyboard to open BIOS menu and then enable USB keyboard support.
Q: I was playing a game and then my keyboard wouldn't work. But my mouse did work. I closed down the game and then went onto a website and my keyboard still wouldn't work. It didn't work for my whole computer. I had to restart it, and its really annoying because ive been having to restart it about every 20 minutes or so. Why is this? My keyboard is properly put in and even if i unplug and plug, it still wont work. What should I do to fix this from happening again? Please and thankyou~
try sticking the keyboard into another computer to see which is broken, the computer or the keyboard. if its the key board, well old keyboards use old fashioned plugs that trap dust(or insects) easily, so blow those out, if its the computer do a full virus scan to see if a keylogger or virus has somehow screwed up ur keyboard. send the keyboard to a repair shop if nessasry
Q: and by keyboard i mean internal keyboardalso how do i switch the keyboards
If I knew the brand of your laptop, I could be more helpful, but try Amazon. They probably have replacement keyboards. Just make sure you get the right one that will fit your laptop. It may even come with instructions on how to install it.

Q: i want to know if i can use my pc keyboard as if it was a midi keyboard or controller? Like in fl studio use the pc keyboard instead of a midi keyboard? can it be possible? need help
Yes, you can. In FL Studio, click the Options menu and make sure Typing keyboard to piano has a check mark next to it (if it doesn't, click it). Open the Channels menu, rollover Add One, and select whatever synth or drum machine you want to use. Now click the record button (to the right of the stop button) and then the play button. You'll hear 4 clicks (the metronome establishing your tempo), and then start playing the keyboard. When you hit stop, your pattern will be displayed. The layout of the computer keyboard is like a piano: q C5, 2 C#5, w D5p E6 z C4, s C#4, x D4? E5 The only hang-up for doing this is that the computer keyboard isn't velocity-sensitive (meaning all the notes will be the same volume, regardless of how hard or soft you hit the keys). Other than that, it's a good, cheap alternative to buying an expensive keyboard. I'm only familiar with this for Fl Studio. I've used other programs, but I don't know if they allow computer keyboard to MIDI recording. They probably do, but it's probably not as
Q: FN? Computer? Keyboard? Confused
When you hold it it activates the secondary functions of the keys. The secondary functions are usually written in smaller type and often a different color.

Go to device manager, and try scanning for hardware changes and/or reinstalling it.
