Q:Replacing a Hewlett Packard Keyboard?

Q:What's a locked keyboard ?
Well, locking your keyboard is a great way to make sure your phone doesn't accidentally pocket-dial. Basically it locks your keyboard so you can't type anything (and its usually a button that wont have a chance of being pressed while in someone's pocket or case) or call anyone. I don't think you can get a phone without a keyboard, because this is the new technology and everything has it. Also, if your phone gets stolen, for example, if your keyboard is locked and the person who took it doesn't know how to unlock it, they can't use the keyboard, which basically means you can't use your phone. :)
Q:definition of a computer keyboard?
A computer keyboard is a peripheral partially modeled after the typewriter keyboard. Keyboards are designed for the input of text and characters and also to control the operation of a computer. Physically, computer keyboards are an arrangement of rectangular or near-rectangular buttons, or keys. Keyboards typically have characters engraved or printed on the keys; in most cases, each press of a key corresponds to a single written symbol. However, to produce some symbols requires pressing and holding several keys simultaneously or in sequence; other keys do not produce any symbol, but instead affect the operation of the computer or the keyboard itself. See input method editor. Roughly 50% of all keyboard keys produce letters, numbers or signs (characters). Other keys can produce actions when pressed, and other actions are available by the simultaneous pressing of more than one action key.

Q:Buy keyboard (piano) help!?
Casio Lighting Keyboard LK-230 OR the Casio Lighting Keyboard LK-300T good for beginners. Their prices range from $399.00 and up. I had a Casio Lighting LK-230, definitely worth saving for that extra 100 bucks OR Yamaha YPG 235 76-Key Portable Grand Piano Keyboard from about $250.00 Yamaha NPV60 76-Key Mid-Level Piaggero Ultra-Portable Digital Piano from $329.00 Williams Allegro 88-Key Digital Piano from $299.00 Don't get any keyboard from M-audio. I've heard that they aren't very durable. Great brands to look at is Roland, Casio, Yamaha and Williams. Best is to go to a music shop and ask the people to help you out. They will be able to give you the best quality for your budget. I would strongly advise you to save up another 100 bucks or more, because it's better to get something a bit more expensive, even as a beginner, and make sure that you have something that lasts.
Q:What are Midi Keyboards?
yes as long as its a decent one, its invaluable btw. A MIDI keyboard is a piano-style digital keyboard device used for sending MIDI signals or commands to other devices connected to the same interface as the keyboard
