Guitar amps like the Roland Cube 40XL are made to deal with and accentuate the frequency response of a guitar, whereas keyboards use the full audio spectrum. Using a guitar amp has two drawbacks: 1) the amp will change the sound of your keyboard significantly. 2) the amp may not deal well with certain low frequency sounds coming from your keyboard. Depending on your keyboard patch, that could damage the loudspeaker. Also, your keyboard will not be in stereo. In a pinch, you might be able to get away with it for practice. But don't perform with it. It will sound terrible.

- I had the same problem with an IBM ThinkPad(worst piece of crap laptop i've ever owned) Usually its a power surge to that specific area of the USB. So im assuming youre using a desktop PC. i'd suggest moving it to anotehr USB slot, if any, or if you have a USB HUB you could try that, but i'd be able to help you easier if i had more specific details on your computer / If its a dekstop PC i'd also suggest possibly getting a new power supply

- Q: For school next year, we are getting iPads, and I'm planning on getting a wireless bluetooth keyboard for mine. But I was wondering if, with a bunch of people in class trying to use them, if my iPad could pick up the wrong keyboard? I know that you're supposed to press a button on the bluetooth keyboard and scan for wireless devices on your iPad to make it work, but if someone else is doing it at the same time, could the iPad pick up the wrong keyboard? Could this happen, and if so, would it be better to get a wired keyboard? Thanks :)
- It is possible for the iPad to pick up the wrong keyboard, but quite unlikely. You should pair them either when everyone else has done theirs, or before the class starts. Worst case scenario, you get the wrong keyboard connected, and just disconnect it and try again. Also, there are no wired keyboards for the iPad; they are all bluetooth.
