- Now, If the guy was 75 yrs old, with beautifull gray hair and can ballroom dance, and asked If he could kiss me , I would say yes, The one thing I hate is when a guy opens his mouth over yours and thinks thats a kiss, I would have to tell him I don't need a bath. - forces for cranes are dynamic , so u'll have repeated cycles of compression tension ( i assume it's a trussed crane). but generaly for a cantilever , the main forces are -ve Bending Moment +ve shear which changes the rft. bars position if dealing with R.Concrete for example

- Crane? anyway,, if your store has those little pieces you can buy to eat? or if you know someone with canes,, you strip off the hard outer covering,, this has the seed buds,, plant these in 3 inches of soil and wait,, cane is slow growing!! if you google sugar cane growing or go to wikipedia you will find plenty of info google buy sugar cane seeds you will find sites to order!!

- I can't comment on the people you mentioned. What I can say is that White Crane is a good style. BUT, it was never as popular as arts like Goju-ryu, Shotokan, Shito-ryu, and many others. It is curious that Wikipedia would say something like the style is less popular. But then I have always taken what I see on the internet with a grain of salt. Anyone can post any thing they want on the net. That does not make it true.

- The Crane kick is an actual Martial Arts move it is done in some Hung Ga Kung Fu forms but differently than the one in the movie because it is done without jumping and is much faster the crane kick in the Karate Kid is just a figment of the director and screen writers imaginations.
