1. For Polished Porcelain Tile, is the 30*60 available?
—— Yes, 30*60 is available. Due to the basic size is 60*60, we need to cut 60*60 tile into 30*60. 6 pcs are packed into one carton.
2. What is the MOQ for this tile?
—— Normally the MOQ is 1267.2 m2 for one 20’ container. To support our clients, we could go with 3 models to fill one container at most.
3. What is your Packing?
—— We use plywood pallets with blue resin wrap at the outside of the tiles.

- corner cutting is best done with hand tools. For heavy use make sure you have a strong pedestal for the saw. DeWalt is one of the better ones, so is Ridgid

- I have been a tile installer for over ten years now. Basic tile installations, such as floors and backsplashes are perfectly fine for any homeowner. There is not much that can go wrong ( mainly Aesthetics) When is entails water related installations ( Wet areas). This is when a homeowner can get in over their heads. Water will find its way out if a stall is not properly prepped and waterproofed. I honestly would recommend hiring a professional. Just my opinion.

- I would use ceramic tile. It comes in a variety of sizes and colors and is relatively easy to put up. It is also very easy to clean. If you haven't tiled a lot before, get self spacing tiles. Then you do not need to mess around with tile spacers. This will speed up your job. Also, if you have never tiled before, check with your local hardware store. Some places like Home Depot and Lowe's will offer free tiling classes. HTH!
- Q:Specifically, what type of drill bit is required that won‘t chip the tile.
- I have also used a carbide tipped bit on several occasions to drill tile. The key is to have a sharp bit and to use a pointed center punch to put a very small chip in the surface prior to starting to drill the hole. Make the chip at the center of the point where you want the hole by lightly tapping with a hammer. You don't need much of a chip but it keeps the drill bit from wandering around when you first start drilling. Also a variable speed drill that you can start at a very low speed it also helpful.
- Q:i stay in a moblie home and i would like to lay tile but a lot of ppl are saying not to cause within time the wood under it would give way is that true i dont want to put more carpet cause i have little ones and am tired of shampooing my carpet i have to do it about 4 times a yr and my carpet is a dark green i know but thats what it came with it look nice when it was new but the carpet is 3 yrs old now and not so good looking after so much cleaning .well let me know please
- From a financial standpoint I would stay away from tile in a mobile home. In order for you to lay it you would have to install cement board over the sub-floor. Once installed you would have to be leery of the tile cracking if the trailer ever had to be moved. You should check out the laminate flooring selection, they produce cost effective easily installable floor that looks like tile or wood and are even easier to clean than tile. Check out the selection at Home Depot or Lowes.
- Q:I just grouted the ceramic tiles I laid in my kitchen. The grout was supposed to be a dark maroon color, but it turned out a whitish powdery color (efflorescence). What is the main cause of this...it can't be water coming from underneath the tiles because the basement is underneath the kitchen floor...unless it came from the mortar under the kitchen tiles. How do I get rid of the efflorescence. Grout cleaner didn't work...should I use salfamic (spelling?) acid and scrub the grout lines? Can J just refloat new grout over the existing grout? HELP...I need to put my base cabinets in, but I can't stand looking at my floor the way it is.
- You have a larger problem than you think, that is if your basement floor is of solid construction. If so you have damp in the floor, and sorry to be the barer of bad news but it wont go away. You need a d.p.m. in sub floor prior to tiles is the only way. Jeff
- Q:I am putting in a wood stove and want to make a mural behind it - should I tile the board and then put it up, or tile it on the wall. I am using wall spacers and cement board. I want to make a mural of a tree - the wall is 8‘ by 3‘ - should I cover the whole wall or just the part behind the wood stove? do I need special grout?thanks for your answers
- There is really much more to tile installation than a quick answer. I would suggest mounting the cement board first, then the tile, but for a first timer there might be special challenges to installing tile on a vertical surface if the tile does not have built-in tile spacers or you don’t use tile spacers. It also depends on what kind of tile you use. Hand molded tiles will be more irregular. Even Home Depot sells a great book on tile installation that is not very expensive and there are also videos out there. An oldie but goodie is Setting Tile by Michael Byrne. Also, people have a tendance to use the word grout as a generic term for the adhesive. The stuff you use to mount the tiles is very different from what is put betweent the tiles. You should use a cement based mortar to set the tiles (don’t use the cheap white mastic adhesive, it is not as strong!) You then use a grout for inbetween the tiles. Again, use a cement based grout as well. You do want to use a cement board such as Durock, not greenboard. You might also want to check out fire code issues before you install the wood stove. Check with the place you got the stove from. Then there are many types of grout sealers. You may end up with ash blackened grout if it is not sealed. I recommend a penetrating sealer, not silicone sealer. Then, how will you finish the edges? Will the raw edges of the tile show or do you have matching trim tiles to finish the edges? A lot of these home improvements shows show these really quickie tile installations, which look nice at first (actually I think most of them look cheap and cheesy) but I can guarantee the grout will be cracking within 6 months or the tiles popping up because not enough time was allowed for the mortar to dry before grouting. See, not to burst your bubble, I just think you should research this before you start this project so you end up with a very nice professional looking job you can be proud of!
- Q:We are planning small home improvements during the next year to prepare our house for sale. I would like to switch out our 4 year old formica countertop and replace it with granite tile. A slab is out of the question due to cost. We have a small kitchen and would need about 40 tiles. When I looked on the internet for costs, it seems I can get these tiles for under $300.00? Does that sound right, I think that‘s less than what we paid for the Formica. Also, my next question is can you use the same tile for the entryway, which is next to the kitchen, or it that a little too much of the same thing?
- Tile is thinner than granite counter top,so it can be much less expensive, but it looks good. I would not put it on the floor. A little lipstick on your lips creates an illusion, putting it on your cheeks also, makes you a clown. You want to impress with the granite, so use something else matching ton the floor.
- Q:Also, formica or tile for a countertop???
- countertops are going more tile or granite anymore. depends on your taste and style your looking to achieve. if you are wanting a more expensive look, go for porcelein. very nice tile. if you have animals, dogs, i would not go with a white grout or a white floor. tile is less expensive in price but porcelein in rich looking.
