Q: Dogs, toddlers, or women?
Whats a vacuum cleaner?? Oh wait that's the thing the help uses. I would say dogs are more afraid.
Q: Just a couple of the many tips that I have for vacuum cleaners. So, what's the clogger king?HAIRPINS, BOBIPINS! I service vacuum cleaners and the number one thing I find in the hoses of clogged vacuums are the hairpins that end up lodged sideways there because the spinning brushroller underneath the vacuum separates the pin and everything that follows must somehow travel around the pin. It's usually a small piece of cardboard, or a matchbook cover.REMEDY?Get yourself a magnet and skim the floor first. You can also get a magnetic strip that goes across the front of the vacuum online at any vacuum cleaner parts supplier. Now, for the filters.Hepa's CLOG! FAST! The vacuum cleaner manufactures know this and they screw you out of your money. PERIOD!Hoover uses ELECTROSTATIC MEDIA to make their filters. So you know what they do. 99.97%...SO DO THESE:A TEN PACK OF 4X 11ELECTROSTATIC REGISTER VENT FILTERS- cut-STACK-glueCOST?$2.79where? Lowe's in the furnace filter section.
Thanks, my dog's hair ALWAYS clogs my vacuum
Q: I'm currently treating my cats for fleas and have been on a hoovering mission to try and tackle the problem in the house.99% of what I've read on the internet tells you that you MUST throw the bag away every time you hoover because fleas can escape! I can see how they may be able to survive the process of being sucked up and that eggs can still hatch, but can they really find their way out of the bag and down my long henry hose and back out into the outside world?I'm hoovering nearly every day and it seems ridiculous and expensive to replace what is actually a pretty empty bag.I'm putting a sock over the hose and securing with one of the attachments to be on the safe side but what does everybody think?
a eureka i just bought it and it works great but i have found the bagless ones tend to be more of a hassel than the ones with bags because they need to be cleaned out so frequently and have many filters in the and get clogged easily....i hope i helped... *suga-bear*
Q: What vacuum cleaners would you recommend besides hoover. The price is not important ?
The Dyson is a real powerhouse but for the $400 price tag it had better be. I've never used a more user-friendly machine and the thing gets the job DONE. The other nice thing about the Dyson is that you don't have to bother with filters. I'm also a huge fan of my Dirt Devil. It doesn't seem to clog, it works fast and thouroghly, and the manuverability is way better than the Dyson. The downsides to the Dirt Devil include the filter. It makes emptying the canister really annoying because you have to pull the dirty thing out of the canister, shake it off which invariably makes for a huge dust cloud, and you have to replace them every few months. In addition, on my model, the attachments aren't positioned well. They're always falling out while I'm vacuming and the attachment hose tends to get tangled in the cord and come loose. For more manuverability, Swiffer now makes a vaccuum cleaner which is really effective for small jobs and low pyle carpeting. It's really lightweight and versatile, but it's not very powerful. Then there's always a central vac system, in which a professionally installed unit in the basement is connected to holes positioned all over the house. When you want to vacuum, you plug a sweeper via hose into the holes in the wall. You don't have to worry about an electric cord or changing the bag. The downside is that you could buy a car for the amount of money you'd spend on it and it's not THAT much more convenient. If money were no object, I'd personally buy the Dyson.
Q: I can't find any info on this. They all seem to be scams!!! Yes the HEPA filter would work, but when the seal isn't air tight, things get through... This is important, I got asbestos to clean up and theres no info anywhere on this.

Q: I need a good quality vacuum that is not to expensive. I have a dog so I was thinking a pet hair cleaner. can anyone give me some suggestions?
Loads of great quality vacuum cleaners at Nilfix...
Q: especially for philips brand vacuum cleaners
try it in Mock Kong ( may my spelling is wrong ).. near hong kong.... been once where u can find any thing .... it very cheap... there... buddy just try and write to me on this.... bye !!
Q: vacuum cleaners?
well when it sucks up something and it makes that weird noise it's kinda scary. Also when it runs over things you never know what will happen. Just don't stick your hand down there kay?
Q: I'm afraid of spiders, but not arachnophobic (if that's a word). Mainly since there are the brown-recluse spiders so I'm more paranoid it's them in my house.I tried to catch it, but I would probably get yelled at for catching spiders with a plastic bowl and I'm too freaked out to try and catch the speedy little thing. I ended up vacuuming it up with a small vacuum and not sure what to do next. I heard it can escape so I'm not sure if i should carry the vacuum up and see a spider pop out.I'm not a tech-expert, but the vacuum has a plastic container holding all the dust and even the spider. I heard it can live and no bug spray is around the house to kill it. What should I do? I don't want it running around bent on revenge (kidding there, but the presence of spiders still get me.) I need to clean the house too upstairs. Should I keep vacuuming and hope it goes away, empty it asap? (I'll have to reach up into the container though...)
Arachnophobic, and being afraid of spiders is the same thing. What makes this a baseless and irrational fear, is that there is 'no reason' to fear spiders. Yes, brown recluse spiders do exist. Weather you will ever see one is up to debate. Without knowing where you live, I can't indicate that possibility. The recluse is not really a 'speedy' spider, and people have been known to catch them by hand. (just don't try it) Modern vacuum cleaners have a dirt valve(flap) that would likely keep the spider from escaping, and especially while using it. You should take the vacuum outside to empty it though. While emptying, the only way the spider can bite you is if you grab it or trap it in your hand. I wouldn't worry about the spider, and just go ahead and clean the house. And no, you don't swallow spiders in your sleep.
Q: I have a 2 vacuum cleaners, and I HATE them both! One works okay, but the suction on the hand tool sucks (that one is a dirt devil) and the bissell bagless I have, spills dust/dirt everywhere...I have even taken the whole thing apart and it still is dirty and leaves a mess.I have a baby and a german shepard!Which vacuum works the best for you? the pick-up?
The rolling ball one works!
