Q:Faucet switch and wash basin connection how to do leakage
First check the fastening ring, if the loose clockwise tightening, no leakage that is good. Next check the gasket, replace it. Tighten the fastening ring. OK.
Q:Bathroom wash basin faucet bad how demolition also how reload?
Separate inlet pipes and hoses by saws: Since the faucets in the bathroom are not installed, they can not be separated from the hoses and hoses. At the same time, if the saws are cut directly, the water holes in the saw are re-connected to the new hose A bit difficult.
Q:Three hole wash basin installed a single hole wash hands, the other two holes exposed how to do?
The first to block the glass with the second to do two shelves hanging on top of the watch and the like
Q:I am trying to replace my kitchen faucet. I have done this before, but never at this house. I can not for the life of me get the old faucet out of there. The nuts are too old and rusted, I have tried a high quality penetrating oil, that didn't seem to work. I am also not too comfortable using a torch, so that's out of the question. There was advice on another website that said just to use a good drill and drill through the nuts since I'm replacing them anyway. I'm not sure if this is really a good idea, but I am at my wits end!The other problem I'm having is I can't figure out how to get the old mounting parts off either. I can take pics with my phone if anyone needs to see them.Any help would be appreciated!!
First of all, you need the right tools for the job. You will need a "basin wrench" which is a long wrench (12-18") that has a head that flips for either tightening or loosening the nuts. This wrench will keep your hands below the bottom of the sink and help prevent "bloody knuckles syndrome". If the nuts are frozen to the point that a basin wrench won't turn them, use a "mini hacksaw" to cut one side of each of the nuts that hold your faucet to the sink. If the nuts are made from brass, this will be relatively easy being that brass is a soft metal. Once you cut the nuts, use a flat screwdriver to open the gaps created by hacksawing through the nuts. At this point, the nuts should be removed easily. When you are lying under the sink and looking up at the faucet base, BE SURE TO WEAR SAFETY GLASSES! When you put on your new faucet, be sure to lightly coat all threads with a good quality plumber's grease. This will make repairs/removal alot easier next time.
Q:I was filling a large basin with hot water. Suddenly there was a 'thump' and the water stopped running. I pushed the handle back and got cold water, then to the right and got cold water. But when I pushed the handle all the way to the left to get hot water, no water came out at all. The bathroom faucet gives hot water when I turn the handle and the bath faucet gives hot water. What happened to my kitchen faucet?
It's some kind of valve in the lines of your kitchen faucet and hoses. There are different places that can be. First make sure the lines under the sink aren't kinked (yes, even a sprayer that pulls out from the side can cause this). After that, you will have to pull apart the faucet.
Q:What would be the correct tool to get behind the water supply lines to get to the sprayer connection on a kitchen faucet? The space is too tight for even my small hands.
use a flashlight to look up under the sink and see how the hose is attached to the faucet. the clerk at the hardware store- a lowe's or home depot or such, will be able to get you the faucet wrench for the job.
Q:Faucet two hot and cold water hose aging, turn fixed, how to unload? I have removed the faucet from the basin, the leading hose
Hand drill, 4 drill bits, one-way grinding, grinding with a sharp nose clamp clamp. This thing is not anxious!
Q:Ok, so I applied a bit too much pressure on my faucet handle in the bathroom sink and now when i turn on the water the handle is a bit loose. and i have to turn it a certain angle to shut off the water completely. I've notice that there is a little ring that is loose, any idea on how to fix this loose problem...
you will have to take the center cap off and remove the screw the handle is stripped take it to home depot or lowes and get a new 1. if its old enough that you cant find a new handle you can buy a new faucet and install it for under 30 bucks good luck
Q:What is the use of the hole below the basin faucet, on the basin
You should be a drainage hole
Q:The position of the leading hole in the basin
Look at what kind of pots and faucets you buy.
