Q:Just a simple question is there any carpet cleaner thats okay for ferrets the room my ferrets play in i rearranged and was gonna clean the carpet. But i know ferrets use smell as one of there main senses so i didn't wanna clean it with something to strong any suggestions? is there a specific safe for ferrets carpet cleaner or is just regular carpet cleaner safe. Also, professional rug cleaning people who use this method have a way of extracting the water out (vacuum table) so that the colors don't run from being wet too long. Since you don't have the material, I would suggest a carpet shampooer (injection/extraction) or if not, have a wet dry vac handy to suck up the maximum amount of water from the rug and be able to hang it over a bar in a very well ventilated area. You will have to turn it once every few hours. The biggest risk is that the colors run after X time being wet.

Thanks.: You can clean a carpet, but if it has been wet and has a pad under the carpet, you will have to cut the carpet loose at the wall and remove the pad from under the carpet. You can not clean that and the mold smell is in the pad. Either replace the pad or just leave it out. I never put pad under carpet. Now clean the carpet and add some mildew killer to the cleaning agent. They sell this at Lowes and Home Depot. Reattach the carpet at the wall with a carpet tacker prior to cleaning as it might shrink otherwise.

Q:I need to know if its okay to put a bleach mixture on a white bath rug. Would it mess up the fabric? (was a gift from my husband grandmother): If it's washable, then yes, you can wash it with detergent and add some bleach; fill the washer and add detergent and bleach first, then the rug.
