Product Description

The nylon overcoated wires demonstrate the same properties as the above wires without polyamide coating.

What's more, because of the nylon coating, these wires' mechanic properties are improved greatly.

Q:I have a motorcycle with a full factory fairing, and it is all wired through a 20 pin connector.I want to eliminate the fairing and go to a classic cruiser front end. Will need to wire headlights, speedo, tach, fuel gauge, clock (?), and maybe some other stuff that's buried in there like an ICM to Tach connection and dimmer switch. Is this feasible? Can I just pull the wires out of the harness and hook them to individual components? Can I find a blank male 20 pin connector and wire all my new stuff into it.Will the LCD displays like fuel, clock, and odometers use the same voltages as analog displays if I go with those? Also might just go with an all in one speedo with tach, idiot lights, clock, fuel gauge, etc. Can I expect to be able to wire it up?Finally, there will be stuff that will be left unused, like stereo speakers and CB radio connections. Can I just leave that stuff unconnected and tied off with no impact on the overall system?
It can be done and for someone who is familiar with electricity, motorcycle systems and electrical test equipment a nice little project. I'm getting the impression that you would be in over your head based on your questions. see if you can enlist the time of someone who has experience with such things. everything you listed is possible and available It's not hard if you know what you are doing. For the inexperienced tho it can be a steep and expensive learning curve!
Q:engine compartment is the main priority but i would like to rewire the gauges, interior lights, etc as well.
If you want new, your Dodge dealer might have it, if used is acceptable, just type d150 wiring harness into your search engine and you will find numerous sites.
Q:a car audio shop they don't make wire harness for 1996 totoya avalon
that is correct the Avalon uses a 15 pin plug that nobody makes this what you have to do get the regular toyota plugs 10 pin plug and 6 pin plug wire them with long cables at least 8 feet this is going to plug to the Toyota factory amplifier that in the right side of the glove compartment the other end plugs in to the new radio good luck
Q:I currently have a Sony Xplod CD receiver. If I am upgrading to a Pioneer AVIC-Z130BT GPS/DVD receiver, I know that I will need a different dash kit for the double DIN unit, but do I need a different wiring harness, or will the wiring harness from the AM/FM/CD player that I already have be sufficient for the new headunit? Thanks.
wiring harnesses are fit to your car not the stereo, as long as you hook up the existing harness to the plug for the back of the new stereo you will be fine
Q:What are the types of car harnesses, such as engine harnesses
Structured cabling refers to the transmission lines installed in an office building or building
Q:Could this be the ignition switch or switch wiring harness problem?
As the switch wiring is pretty much stationary all of the time I would assume it is the switch that has failed. That said, if your truck is parked somewhere that mice have access to it, you could have had some chewing of the wires and an intermittent short somewhere in the harness. Electrical problems are always a giant pain to diagnose, good luck!
Q:i have a pontiac sunfire 2000 and the wiring harness is like 110$ but for a 99 it s 10.99 why does it make such a big difference? i have the simple version no power locks or windows
because their completly different the 110$ one retains all of the chimes and warning signals, the 10$ one does not it has nothing to do with the year of the car, you can buy the 00 stereo harness for 10 bucks as well. just go to a guy audio shop or search the internet you dont need the harness that retains the vehicles chimes. only difference without it is if your key is in the ignition and your door is open it doesnt go ding ding ding foreverthats all really find the 10$ one for your car, its out there. i have a 02 gand am, same thing with mine. mine was 15 bucks for just the straight harness. not warning signal one
Q:I have a factory radio and i want to install an aftermarket sony radio in a 2003 land rover discovery.

Q:1995 ford contour, entire wiring harness, NEEDS ANSWERS ASAP, A BRAND NEW ONE FROM FORD IS $2000 i CANT AFFORD it, at barrys u pull it, all of them are damaged
Why would you replace an entire wiring harness on a PS car such as this? Either fix the harness you have, keep checking junk yards, or buy a totalled vehicle and snag the harness from it yourself. Astrobuf
Q:HiI'm an engineering student who works for a benchmarking company. I was wondering if anyone had any insight or ideas into finding out how much copper is in the wiring harness. I have some clients interested in obtaining this information but i was wondering if there was a way of determining the copper weight without having to strip all insulating material and putting it on a scale. Any insight would be helpful. Thanks
If you know the lengths of the wire and the gauge, you can calculate it. It won't be fun, but it will work.
