Introduction

Ceramic Fiber Blanket is made from long special ceramic fiber, formed by special strong double surface needling, without any binder ,increasing inter-weaving and tensile strength, so that NATI ceramic fiber blanket own good stability under any working temperature.

 Characteristics

*Good springiness for fiber

*Excellent strength and resistance to blowing

*Excellent chemical stability, resistance to erosion

*Low thermal conductivity

*Low thermal shrinkage

*Excellent sound absorption

 Typical Applications

Filling insulation and joint sealing

Back-up lining for industrial furnaces

Fireproof materials for construction

Q: I was thinking washable merino wool, perhaps with 5% lycra but it is up to $35 US dollars per yard and I need 5 yardsTerrycloth is too heavy/bulky, I can't stand fleeceAny other knit fabrics which would be appropriate? Recommendations?
Not a good idea to remove the insulationHire a handyman to put up sheetrock or do it yourselfIt's easy and cheap.
Q: I have 3 dogs and they all shed and I was wondering what material of furniture is the simplest to keep clean or maybe some ideas some folks have used to control the pet hair in their homes.
As a sufferer of IBS, I take Metamucil everydayYou must take a tsp and slowly build up to 1TBLS everydayIt really does helpTry it and see if it helps you.
Q: We rent an old house, no one is really sure how old it is, but we do know it was built for the coal miners when the mines used to build houses for their workersThere was an addition put on about 25 years ago, which is insulated and heated by oil with forced airThe problem is, the original portion of the house is not insulated at all and has no vents coming into it for heatWe are forced to use portable electric radiant heaters, thankfully, this is only the kitchen, dining room and a bedroom downstairsOur landlord has agreed to quot;take it off the rentquot; if we do some kind of DIY insulation in the existing walls where there is no insulation. My husband is quite handy.he's done regular insulation before, but never any of this newer type of blown in stuff or foamWe don't want to start tearing down drywall.we're looking for the cheapest, easiest way to insulate the outside walls in this area of the house. Can anyone offer suggestions?
blown in is much easier for this situation than is batt, and the store which sells the bags of cellulose will rent or loan a machine to blow it inI'd look at the machine first, to see what kind/size of nozzle, then stare at the house a few minutes, and see how much damage you'd do creating openings near the ceiling for installationIf the house has no insulation, there probably aren't fire blocks, but you'll have to do several cavities - the studs themselves are barriersProbably there's a crawl space - look underneath for insulationIf needed (count on it - it will need it), it will have to be batts, and it will have to have gravity supportIf you do this, I'd start with foam to seal wire and pipe penetrations at floorAlso go around exterior looking for holes to foamPut clear sheet polyethlene (I like 6 mil) over the windows outside, and staple it using screen mold or similar, to keep wind out of the window cavityCheck elec outlets and light fixtures and switches, too, for leaksFoam works well there also, and/or you can buy black foam rubber gaskets precut to put behind the plug plate covers.
Q: First off please do not respond with redneck, trailer trash, or similar comments about my home, it's a very nice house and I'm very proud of itOk now the question! Our house has the vinyl underpinning (saving up for a nicer foundation, but that will come in time), it's 28ft w and 60ft long, and it sits pretty much on a hillThis causes a lot of cross winds to come through the vinyl, what would be the best way to insulate the area under the house to prevent air leaks? Would it be better to do the spray in insulation, going underneath and literally spraying the whole place down or going the packaged route and stuffing the place full of fiberglass insulation? Spray insulation I worry would be blown out by the wind (I seriously know VERY little about this, so I'm sorry if that comes off like the dumbest sentence you've ever read.) If I choose to physically lay out the packaged insulation under the home would I need to secure it with any special tools or specialized hangers?
I suggest noting the difference between skirting, the panels that keep stuff, and a lot of air, from just blowing under the 'home, vsthe actual insulation underneath the floorNot worth the trouble to try to get air-tight skirting (and could actually cause mold problems due to a lack of ventilation), but definitely good to max under the floorTreat it just like insulating a crawl space under a regular house, thick and then sheeted over with plastic, for a vapor barrierAs long as you're down there, also get to know where your water supply line and drain line is, etc., especially if you've had any trouble in this cold winter.
Q: So a bag for $14 at Costco - I'm not that rich.
why don't you put male and female plugs on the wire endsthen plug in when in useif not, just make sure connections are tightthere is a tendency for the al and the cu wires to loosen during usethis is where the special paste comes inyou could go to lowes or home depot and purchase the pasteits not real expensivebut, yes, you can do what you want.
Q: doctor said i should eat more fiber so i got high fiber cerealEvery time i go to the bathroom i have anal fissuresthe fiber is running a muck when i go make stoolwhat should i do?
Although there is certainly plenty of fiber in cereals, bread, pasta and rice there is a lot more in fruit and vegetables so you probably need more fruit and vegetables in addition to your high fiber cereal According to the healthy food pyramid most of your calories should come from grains and cereals and fruit and vegetables.
Q: will acrylic yarn felt?
if you use large needles you can make a tweed with 2 strands knitting worsted yarn or 3 strands sport weight yarnyou can just make horizontal stripesthis can be done on straight needles with a simple stitch like garter stitch, stockinette stitch, or k2p2 ribbingfancy stuff like cables take away from the great team colors!
Q: Hi people! Okay so I had 13 inches removed from my big intestine 3 weeks ago due to an bad infection and the doctor advised me to eat high fiber foods because I can't get constipated, problem is I didn't ask him what kind of food because I was embarassed he would think I was ignorant lolCan you guys please this lil ignorant girl? thanks
I pay for a 1.5Mb/sec connection, but my average download speed is around 165kb/secIf i lived in town I would be able to get speeds higher than 100Mb/sec when the new optical fibre connection arrives in town the speeds will be around 1Gb/sec, in townBut it will probably still be only 1.5Mb out here, I'm only 6 miles from town.
Q: I have plans to remove the 20 year old Manville gold fiberglass, paperbacked insulation from between my floor joists in my basementThe paper backing was facing downMy reason for doing so is to replace it with recycled cotton or denim insulation for a better look, and its safer; less itchyI do alot of adding of wiring and such im my basement and i'm sick of dealing with the fiberglass insulation as wellIs recycled cotton or denim insulation without a backing okay to put up there? Do i need that vapor barrier? The basement is not heatedAlso i was thinking i'd just put the old fiberglass insulation in my attic because it needs more anyhow, due to the old insulation settlingShould i remove the paper backing if i decide to do this?
