Q:I have a shag carpet and can't manage to vacuum it clean even with a flat vacuum brush. Is there any product that can use to clean it thoroughly?
a twig cleansing product called person-friendly eco-friendly. that's centred yet I used it finished ability basically right now on my carpet, that's additionally beige! learn the educational grant it a attempt. that's a gloomy eco-friendly liguid works super on distinctive themes. i stumbled on it some years in the previous at the same time as working in a hardwear shop! grant it a attempt! that's offered with person-friendly cleanig aspects in optimal shops.
Q:I purchased a very beautiful antique rug 2 days ago. The rug had been locked away in storage for years. It has a relatively strong musty odor. It is too delicate for professional deep cleaning. I have gently beaten it to remove dust, and now have it hanging in an open garage. I sprayed it with Febreze, but that only helps for a few minutes. Do you think it just needs to air out and give it time or is there something safe I can use on it? It is huge, like 10ft x 14 ft. No deep cleaners will touch it because they fear they will damage it. Help anyone! Thank you.
I have many antique and vintage rugs which came to me really smelling bad. The one thing you can do to absorb the odor without damaging the fiber is to sprinkle it with baking soda and letting it sit, vacuuming it up and reapplying until the odor is absorbed. I have tried airing them out and have found that most of them that are natural fibers (like wool and silk) just don't smell good still when put indoors in a closed room and further, if you live in a smoggy, dusty or hazy area like I do, they simply pick up other odors from the environment. I have found treating both sides with the baking soda helps, too, because the backing particularly if it is a natural fiber, is also impregnated with the same odor as the fibers.
Q:Can carpet be laid on wood floor, what will happen for a long time?
It can reduce the noise of the foot. To pay attention to cleaning the dust between the carpet and the floor, so as not to wear the floor surface Laying carpet on the wood floor is a common combination. That can not only protect the floor surface, but also is a very scientific way
Q:What kind of material carpet is easy to clean, what kind of material carpet clean?
For example: blended, chemical fiber, hemp are relatively cheap and easy to take care of the bast carpet, do not love the ball. The small chemical fiber can be washed in the washing machine. Most of the back of a layer of plastic, laying the ground will run, and there are more cleaning, the back will become debris.Wool foot feeling comfortable, good care, but also easy to moth.
Q:I'm trying to figure out how to place a standard rectangular rug under a horseshoe shaped sectional with an oval coffee table making up the center. Should the rug go under the whole sectional with room to spare behind it? That would have to be a very large rug.Can the sectional be only partway under the rug?
I like to see area rugs placed at an angle under horseshoe configured sectionals. You can put it just under the front so that there isn't a gap that will get dirty right in front of the curved portion of the couch. You are placing the rug to anchor the couch to the room and protect the flooring underneath, having it under the couch doesn't serve either purpose. This saves you a little money as well in that you don't have to purchase such a large area rug...
Q:I have a carpet shampooer machine and my carpet has lots of embedded dirt and dog urine and soda stains. What product would give me the best results?
Get a couple of new vacuum cleaner bags so the most dirt possible will come out before you shampoo. Be sure to rinse twice after using detergent to clean the carpet. I hope your machine has a way to suck up the maximum amount of water. Mildew can form very quickly in damp carpets. Try to get this job done while the humidity is still low and the furnace is running, and use exhaust fans to speed up the drying process.
Q:My dog threw up on my carpet, so i used a shampooer on my carpet to get it out. it helped alot, but i can still see a little yellow. does anyone have any tips on how to get the rest of the color out WITHOUT leaving white bleach stains on my carpet??? thanks(:
Keep okorder ., for your part of the country. Stain Magic is only available to professional carpet/upholstery cleaners as it should be extracted after use. Take care of your expensive carpet investment, call a pro for difficult carpet cleaning problems.
Q:help on rug costs-- geometry?
23. Area and ratio of rugs Small measures 47X29 and sells for $79 Large measures 94X58 (converting feet and inches to inches) and sells for $299 A(small) = 1363cm? A(large) = 5452cm? Ratio is 1:4 #24. Is the large rug a good purchase? YES! Why? On a ratio of 1:4 you would need 4 small rugs to equal the size of the large and that would cost $316. So the large rug is the better purchase. Have a good day!
Q:I vacuum every day with a kirby sentria. I read somewhere that vacuuming daily can ruin your carpet, but I haven't had a problem (yet). Supposedly it'll wear out the carpet sooner? I use the correct settings for my carpet. We have a 3 year old, a dog, and 3 cats, the thought of vacuuming even every other day kind of sickens me when I think about how many crumbs and how much hair can build up in the carpet lol.Is it okay to vacuum daily? Not gonna have to replace the carpet every 3 years if I do it that way?
I live alone and have a cat . My carpet picks up a lot of debris , Therefore I vacuum atleast once every other day , if not daily.
Q:I steam clean my carpet twice a year but lately because of a sick pet it is more often. No matter if I do it myself or have a professional do it, I see dark brown water. It has never been clear. How many times do I go over the carpet to get the clean water. Is this all dirt? Or is it color from the carpet and pad. It drives me nuts. Only carpet that comes out with clear is one that was shampooed twice over the years in an extra room that isn't used. Thanks to anyone who can tell me why and what I have to do. No, I'm not a pig lol. Of course I vacuum regularly.
It is just dirt and dust. You can probably go over it 10 times and still get dirty water. The dirt becomes crushed down into the fibers and to the pad. The best you can do is to shampoo once, and rinse twice.
