Q: A car of mass 1540 kg rests on a hydraulic lift with a piston of radius 0.28 m that is connected to a second piston of radius 0.034 m. If the car is just barely lifted off the ground, what is the force at the second piston?_____________ N
No and they sure do hurt. God did increase the pain of child birth ALOT, but then he redeemed himself and invented Anesthesiologists.
Q: It rides like a boat, no dive at braking but rear sways. Has some type of bags in rear instead of struts or springs. Will replacing shocks alone be sufficent? car has about 90M on it. Rear sways and gard to keep car in control on freeways. Any suggestions?
If the door panel says the correct inflation pressure for your vehicle is 32 psi then why wouldn't you go with that, instead of a generic safety warning about MAXIMUM (ie: not the same as RECOMMENDED) inflation pressure printed on the tire? Your tire doesn't know what kind of vehicle it is on, how would it know what the recommended pressure is? Besides, you are not looking in the right spot on the tire. If you read the small print (which nobody ever does) it tells you to inflate the tire to the inflation pressure indicated by the sticker in the door.
Q: How much would this cost? Its a Honda Prelude
look for 1 inch body lift kit, like spacers.
Q: Can having larger tires in the rear than in the front of a FWD car cause Tie Rod to break??
Not even close. The back of a car can't get high enough to break the front end. It had to have been done by impact (if broken) or age (if worn out).
Q: Looking to put 22‘ rims on the car but I need to have it lift and maybe need to have it cut in the wheel well.
By telling them not to go there. A lot of their teachings are unbiblical. No different than the SDA church.
Q: In the Army when I am at my barracks do they have a garage for everyones cars or is it just a parking lot outside the barracks. I am asking this because Ive always wanted a hot rod and If I buy one it wont be running at first so I need a place to leave it till it runs.
Cool thing is, once you finish training and are assigned to a duty station, there are car craft centers where, after a short training course, you can work on your car. They have lifts and all the tools you'll need, as well as very experienced mechanics to help you with your project.
Q: When recovering the car the cop just was really rude then the forensic officer just blew me off he lifted 3 finger prints and was done I had to point out to him the grape faygo can in the back seat and tell him that wasn‘t mine but maybe DNA could be on it. It was almost as if I was bothering him and he was just going through the motions. Has anyone ever been through this where the person was caught because of finger prints and if so how long did it take? It‘s been a full 24 hours since they tooke the prints now.
DNA matches cost money, and anyone with their DNA in a database is going to be someone who already committed a crime far worse than stealing car, and isn't going to be the type who drank Faygo. There are higher priorities for police resources. Was the joy ride car wrecked, or just found abandoned? Finding the car at all is lucky on your part, some cars you'll find but they are torched afterwards.
Q: I got a guy that‘s always getting me on stuff and I tell him I‘m gonna get him back, but I have no idea how. I work in a do-it-yourself auto shop. We hand out tools and run the car lifts. What‘s a really good trick to play on him?
Everyday for one week. look at the ceiling like you're trying to figure something out and when he asks what you're doing brush him off and say not now, I'm trying to figure something out. then the next week, tape your shoes to the ceiling and lay on the ground writhing in pain just below them. or you can put seran wrap over the toilet bowl if you want to get really evil.
