Q: to feed, burp, change, etc also taking her in car seat to the doctor appointment i live on a upstairs apartment so i have no choice but to use stairs. i just posted the other Q about taking her on a walk and everyone is saying tkae it easy. am i doing to much now? I have no choice though. I live alone and her dad isnt in the picture ? so is it ok? she weighs 9 pounds. i just have to lift her and she gets fussy so i have to hold her and carry her around, but the heaviest part is carrying her up and down the stiars in the car seat, but i have no choice becuase she has jaundice and we have to go get her blood drawn at the doctors. is this going to rip open my incision? sorry if it sounds like the last Q but its not, the last Q made me think of this Q , thanks :)
Just be sure to rest as often as you can. Try to sleep when baby sleeps, or at least lay down and rest. maybe you can leave the car seat in the car and only carry the baby, so you're not lifting too much. You are probably doing a bit too much , so only do what you have to and ask for help, from friends and family. I know sometimes you have to do what you have to do, but this little baby is also counting on you, so its really important that you take care of yourself so you can take care of the baby. (imagine if you do open your incision up and have to have a stay in the hospital). congrats and good luck
Q: What are the advantages of the single-cylinder and twin-cylinder of the two-column lift
Single-column lift single-column lift is a special equipment for lifting a car and other vehicles that are parked on the ground to a certain height for maintenance. It is a typical local lift for cars and engineering vehicles , In order to replace the wheel tires or vehicle chassis for a variety of maintenance operations equipment. Single-column lift machine easy to operate, beautiful, do not take up space will be able to lift the weight of convenience. With the effect of saving time and effort, when not completely placed on the ground to facilitate the car reversing and placing items, car repair is an indispensable tool. Single-column vehicle lift is divided into two types: movable and fixed. Single column mobile lift is suitable for indoor and outdoor venues, single column fixed lift machine for indoor area is more compact place.
Q: My Benz was towed (front of my car was facing the rear of the tow truck) by flatbed because the Electronic Ignition was not functioning. Could not be started could not be taken out of park. My wife saw the vehicle being unloaded from the flatbed at the dealership. The tow driver lifted the flatbed and began jolting the vehicle down the ramp using the hydraulics. Once the nose of the car (not the wheels) were on the ground he continued to jolt the vehicle down the ramp grinding and smashing the front of the car on the ground approximately 7 times until the front wheels finally reached the ground. There is damage to the front bumper and potentially the front inner structure. Is there a way the tow driver could have moved the vehicle off the flat bed without causing damage to the vehicle? What recourse do I have?
I think the short to long lines set up the coming Phoenix; something we can easily see for ourselves. Good poem.
Q: A friend of mine has one of those big, expensive, hydraulic shop lifts that he's going to let me use to replace the shocks on my 1993 f150. But it's one of those that you drive on (so your tires are always on the lift). My question is do the wheels have to be suspended in order to remove the shocks (meaning that I can't use his lift)? Or since he has the lift, would it be alright to just lift it up and pull the shocks (and put the new ones on)?
In order to replace the shocks you need to have the suspension at it's longest travel, or fully extended. So that would mean the wheels have to be suspended. The drive on lifts ive used in the past have had hydraulic lift points in the center to lift the car up once it is on the platform, but this case may be different. Good luck hope it helps
Q: I have a 300e Mercedes and the back head rests fall when the car gets started. When the engine is on and I try to lift the head rests they fall again but when the car is off and I lift them up they stand. What is the cause of this and how do I solve this problem? Please help someone?
Is there a latch that you can engage after you pull them up and if not the hydraulics or teeth in the headrest are worn out. You could drill a small hole in the bar where you want them to sit and put a small c clip in the hole to hold them up.
Q: I have some homework about aerodynamics, and I need to find out how to make cars faster, explaining stuff about airfoils, drag, lift, surface finish, stability, etc. any tips. NEED HELP NOW! due in soon!
I run a can of fuel injector cleaner thru my Merc once or twice a year, but that's all. Nothing goes in with the engine oil, but I'm fairly good at changing it about every 5,000 miles.
Q: I've seen the lifts that you drive up on and they have a motor to lift the car, but they are expensive, I'm looking for something that I can drive up on with all four wheels to a fixed height, kind of like driving your car up on 4 rhino ramps (which is VERY difficult on my driveway).I thought of nailing together some 6x6's and then building som kind of ramp to get the car up on them, but if I'm going to spend time under a car I'd rather use something not built from wood.
Why do you need the whole car off the ground? just jack it up with a floor jack, and support it with jack stands. One side at a time.
Q: Is he strong enough to lift a car?
He can't lift a car but he could likely flip small to medium size cars. His strength would let him compete in normal Word's Strongest Man competitions.
