Q:Ok here's the story. My husband stopped this guy from illegally dumping on his own lot, because it was in wetlands and he was also dumping junk there to fill it in. This guy has given us problems ever since. We own some land and anytime we do anything on the land we get a call from a police department that doesn't even have jurisdiction over it. We've been called by them to mow it(it's agriculture land), we've had vehicles tagged twice now(their all licensed except the excavator which doesn't need one), the state was called when my husband was leveling an already existing driveway. I'm sure there's nothing we can do. We're just going to keep getting harassed because the bad guys know people. Just figured I'd ask for any advice. I did read theres a open fields doctrine, but this is a police department for the town and we're under the county as we're unincorporated. The tags say they're going to tow our vehicles which I'm worried about.
The Patriot Act allows the police to execute you at will
Q:How do they ventilate subway tunnels when they are building them? Obviously they cant use just electric vehicles to create stations and tunnels. TBMs are electric but they must use excavators, loaders, etc when building stations beneath the surface. How do they ventilate these tunnels?
There is a fan plant built next to an access shaft. The fans blow fresh air through the duct that runs down the shaft and into the tunnel, suspended from the tunnel's arch, all the way to the TBM. As the TBM advances, workers add new sections of the duct. The air then flows through the tunnel back to the access shaft. The section of the NYC's Third Water Tunnel I've been to, used very little engine powered heavy equipment. The train that brought workers and supplies to and from the TBM run on the CNG. Everything else run on electricity.
Q:I'm looking on behalf of my company - who needs to get tracks and undercarriage parts for some Bobcat machinery.
I have had good luck with a company called Gabberdeen. They have everything. I have a 331 and I got my whole undercarriage and tracks for them from CHEAP. Find them on the internet.
Q:My PC160 slows down when I run it for an hour or so. Its not over heating and my filters are clean, the hydraulic fluid and type is good. The cowd in and outand boom up and down is the most noticeable, but I'm sure the swing is affected by this seeins how everything is set based on the swing. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
might be the pressure relief valve on the pump when it gets hot? maybe a pinched/crushed hose that collapses when hot?

Q:What can dragline excavators do that bucket wheel excavators can't?
Had you asked if they could replace face shovels, then I would have said that in certain circumstances (not many) then 'yes' However a replacement for draglines, a most definite 'no'. Bucket Wheel Excavators are mainly used to take material from a plane which is usually on the same level as the machine, as is a face shovel. That means the 'buckets' are 'biting' bottom to top and loading the material above the machine where a conveyor takes it to a single dispersal point. A dragline takes material from below the plane on which the machine is standing, and places the same material almost anywhere that is appropriate, or even into a waiting dump truck. If a B.W.E. is used to remove the same material, even though it is still removing material 'bottom to top', the material is now 'conveyed' under the machine, meaning that the machine (if it existed) would have to be rather high. To sum up, I would say that a B.W.E. is great for what it does, but ------ for maneuverability, flexibility and even transportability a dragline takes a LOT of beating
Q:I Bought this along with an other CAT front loader off ebay. I got it for $20 dollars as a bid. I loved the excavator but i never really liked this IHI IS-04.

Q:the question is' the city of rubber ville plans to dig a rectanguler landfil. the landfil will have a base with demensions 700 ft by 200 ft and a depth of 85 ft.'1- how many cubi feet of garbage will the landfill hold?2- what information would you need to determine how long the landfil can be used until its full?3- an excavator was hired to dig the hole for the landfill. how many cubic yards of dirft will he have to haul away?i reaally dont get this!can you please explain 1, 2, and 3 to me??
Well for number 1, simply find the volume by multiplying the given dimensions For number 2, you would need to know approxamitely the volume of trash going in daily, or something along those lines For the third, convert dimensions to yards, then multiply them? That's how I would do it, unless I misread the question
Q:When they mark the underground cables and pipes in the street, what does USA mean?
