② Maximum allowable cable long-term working temperature: XLPE insulated cables 90 ℃, PVC insulated cables 70 ℃

Q:Basically, I lost my power adapter to my monitor, and to be honest, I would like to try to avoid buying a new one entirely. I have an old HP laptop power cord that fits into my monitor, but the power specifications on it are different. The power rating on my monitor is 19V and 1.58A. I'm just assuming that's what it needs to run, and that you shouldn't go over that. My power supply from my old laptop converts standard AC into DC at 18.5V, which I'm assuming the difference in voltage between 19 and 18.5 won't really affect anything, but the amperage on my power supply is close to twice as high, at 3.5A output. That's where my concern is, if I where to plug this into my monitor would anything bad potentially come out of it? Don't comment saying quot;Oh, just buy a new one.quot;, I've stated I want to try and avoid that. Thanks in advance.: For one, the polarity might be opposite--you never know about HP computer stuff. And the size of the pin and hole in some connectors are different. As far as the amperage, I suppose it could be safe, as the monitor will only draw what it needs from the power brick. Higher capacity is better than not enough. Give it a try, but stand back! After all, you are willing to take a chance instead of paying money for a new proper cord and supply. That is what gambling is all about!

Q:The reason being is that I just got a new case and my power supply does not have enough 4-pin male power cables to actually hook everything up. The power supply is 750 watts, so it is strong enough to carry all of the charges. I just can't find one. Help?: that is exactly what you need that you linked. nobody i know has the opposite because your psu is female and your drives are male. there for you need a male to 2 female splitter which that is. the only reason why you would have to go reverse is if something is extremely power hungry.

I heard him say that he ran the RCA one on the opposite side of the car so there won't be anymore humming? I currently have my power, RCA ,and rem wires running from front to back on the driver side. Should I re run the RCA one on the passenger side? Will my system sound better?: i substitute into continually informed to not run capability next to RCA cables. when I ran my cables I ran capability on one side and speaker and RCA down the different side in my motor vehicle. Q:I was playing Call of Duty Black ops when i looked down at my mess of cables. I have a lamp the also plugs into the same power outlet. When i looked down my lamp(that i leave on 10 out of 24 hours of the day) had this white stuff on it. Q:Hi,I have a set of Sony speakers that are a few years old. They have no power cable (nowhere to plug a cable in either) and the aux cable has no jacks. It is just two split wires. But between you and me, you could just use any old surround sound device to get your speakers going. Since your Sonys don't have power inputs. A receiver/surround sound would power them. Plug your speakers and TV to a receiver, then plug that receiver to a power outlet and your golden.

Q:Many of the complete amplifier kits, example rated for a 700 watt amplifier come with a 10 gauge power cable. Many of the gauge charts from the online car audio techs, would recommend a 4 gauge wire, but they sell the amp kits with the 10 gauge. I guess bigger is better, more efficient and safer for the installation, but I would expect them to add some * adjacent to the kit specs with their recommendation.: Power Cable Gauge

Thank you!: You could probably buy an adapter plug for your existing cable. Getting a whole new cable might very well mess with the machine itself, and be more expensive than a simple adapter. Just go to an electronics’ store, with the cable, (the bigger the better) and ask for a suitable adapter for it.

They overheat, they have poor solder connections, the pins on the connectors fail. The only thing you can do is try to determine which side has the problem and order a replacement. Yes, they sell the damned things seperate! I had some success for a while by finding THE SPOT where it stayed powered up and taped the Shite out of it. Good luck friend. I have 3 Dell laptops with the same type of power cord, I've had to replace all three at one time or another.
