Thanks.: Hi There, Both ports need to be connected for power for the card and if that is the case then two feeds from the power supply would need to be used. This would be because one power feed with the Y connector probably would have too much load on the one single feed and it would overheat and could cause a big problem. To be absolutely sure you should refer to the instruction manual for exactly what is needed. If still unsure a call to the manufacturer should sort things out. By the way this video card requires a 450 watt (or larger) power supply to operate properly. I would buy a proper power supply for this powerfull video card. This card needs 400 watts if overclocked so I would go for a power supply of about 600 watts (or larger) with feeds for each power adapter for the video card. Hope this helps, Al

Q: My cousin gave me his old xbox but hes lost the cables so i asked one of my friends for his xbox cables to see if it still works and when i tried plugging it in the power wouldn't go in the xbox my cousin has is a halo 3 limited edition which is either an arcade or hes taken the hardrive and my question is, do all xbox-es have the same Cables for power etc and if not were can i get the right power cable for this console preferably bought in the uk: No they don't all have the same power cable. The older ones required more power, the newer ones (two different versions) brought the power down so it wouldn't over heat so much. Where to buy them? Maybe online? Q: I had a power outage and I fixed it and now my cable wont work. The cable box is on it's just that there is no picture and not even the control can make it work. Can anyone figure out a way to help me with this?: Cable modem for internet access or cable box for TV. Whatever. Unplug the effected device. Wait 10 seconds and plug it back it. Let it boot. Try finding channels (if cable box for TV) then. You may have to tune your TV to channel 3 or 4 or also do a channel search. Check the directions on your TV manual. If this is your cable modem, turn off PC, unplug cable modem, wait 10 seconds, plug in, wait till you have green lights, turn on PC. You should be good to go. T

Q: Hifor the last days a strange thing happened. Every time I start my PC it say no video input and there is just black screen. The mouse and the keyboard is dead too. but every fan in the chase works. You can also buy adapters that plug into your hard drive power supply connectors and then your SATA drives. But you could also buy a new power supply that has multiple SATA power connectors

Q: The other day I found an imac g5 17computer in my alley. It probably doesn't work but I was just curious about what cables/accessories I need for it. Find a power cable (any old computer power cable will work) and see if it even powers on and does anything first. Crack it open. Set it on its face, then undo the three screws across the bottom. They do NOT come out. They only loosen up until you can't turn them anymore. The back pops off. Look for any swollen or leaking capacitors. If you find any, then it's junk. If you don't, then see if there's any RAM in it. If not, toss some PC3200 DDR RAM in there and see if you get anything.

There should be a relay in the box for the headlights.

Q: I have a cam camcorder battery charger power cable and I want to use it as a ps1 power cable. Is It possible. The both look the same.: If your talking about the end that looks like an 8 then yes it should work fine. That is a unerversual power cable. However if your PS1 has a small single round hole, i would be careful. Make sure the power is the same, you can check this by looking on the bottom, it should tell you what the conversion is, for ex: like 120v to 6v. Make sure your not throwing to much poser into your ps1.

Q: I'm new to PCs and I recently bought a Dell Optiplex 745 desktop PC but it came without cables. I thought I had the correct power cord but it turns out I gave it away to friends. I would think that you would be fine without the adapter, assuming it already works. If you do decide to do this make sure you set up a surge protector, dont just plug it into the wall. A power surge could fry the internals and brick the pc.

A new amp will have a specification for the input sensitivity. This is how many volts from the source will drive it. The line level output from your head and line level inputs on the amp should work. Line level outputs will probably not drive speaker level inputs on an amp very well.
